Level design tweaks based on player feedback
In this update we have made a number of level design tweaks. All of which originates from feedback and suggestions provided by the community, and all of them designed to improve the flow of battle and optimize the game experience.
We have made level design tweaks to the following maps:
- Factory
- Airfield
- Mountain Town
- Forward Airfield
- Town

Nine new helmet paints
We are introducing nine new helmet paints for infantry soldiers – two cool looking painted steel helmets and one variant with a camouflage pattern for each faction.
All the new helmets can be combined with the uniform of your choice. You can have a look at the helmet paints in game or in this blog post.
New Vehicle Paint Jobs
With this update we are adding a batch of 14 new vehicle paint jobs so you can drive into war in style and look your best when winning battles.
You will be able to purchase two new paint jobs for each of these seven vehicles:
- IS-2 Model 1944 - Soviet Heavy Tank
- M10 Tank Destroyer - US Tank Destroyer
- M18 Hellcat - US Tank Destroyer
- Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer - German Tank Destroyer
- StuG III Ausf. G - German Tank Destroyer
- SU-76M - Soviet Tank Destroyer
- SU-85 - Soviet Tank Destroyer

Light and muzzle smoke tweaks
We adjusted the light settings – bringing more light to the darker areas of the game while keeping the richness of color.
We also made the muzzle smoke more transparent, less visible and with a shorter reach so you can better keep your enemies in sight.

Bulletin Screen and UI updates
A new in-game Bulletin screen tells you the current status of the war, provides an easy to navigate friends list, and gives you up to date information on Heroes & Generals.
We also added a great number of other UI changes that put together adds up to a better game experience

Other changes
Here is a list of some additional features in the Update 1.09 ‘Battle Flow’:
- Reduced the amount of bushes in the field boundaries
- Made it easier to use multi move for Assault Team stacks
- Friends list button now shows number of online friends instead of pending
- invitations
- Brightened the scope view
