For the Update 1.09 ‘Battle Flow’ we have made a number of revisions and adjustments to some of the assault maps in Heroes & Generals in order to improve the gameplay and ensure even better battles on all maps
Our Level Designer Reto.Desji has taken the contructive feedback and suggestions provided by you, the community, in the various threads in our Map Talk forums, and used it as inspiration for the tweaks made to primarily the Town-, Mountain Town-, and Forward Airfield maps.
Here is an excerpt from the '1.09 Update Preview' showing the map tweaks and updates.

Town
The Town map has received considerable changes on the A-, D- and E-line.
With the altered terrain and the revised deploy zones it will provide better combat around the control points. Below we’ll have a look at the most significant changes:
On the Alpha line, the A2A3 deploy zone has been adjusted, so it conflicts less with other deploy zones and provides a safer passage for attackers to A3.
The Delta line has had the D1D2 Deploy Zone moved a lot closer to D2 to significantly reduce travel time. More cover has also been added between the D2D3 Deploy zone and it has been moved to facilitate a shorter travel time for attackers. A shed has been placed near the Deploy Zone, where a bicycle and supply crate can be found.
For the O1 ‘Police Station’ Deploy Zone we received a lot of feedback that it was too easy for defenders to enter the Capture Zone. Adjustments has been made to increase the travel time for Defenders to be similar to the travel time of the O2 ‘Church’ Deploy Zone. As can be seen on the screenshot above, the Red Stairs has been removed. The infantry deploy locations have been moved further away from the Police Station. In order to make sure it’s still safe to leave the deploy zone an extra building has been added for cover.
Mountain Town
The Mountain Town has also recieved significant adjustments.
The changes to the O2 ‘Fuel Depot will facilitate significantly different battles. The Defenders will have more routes to exit the O2 Deploy Zone to avoid being shot as soon they leave the Deploy Zone. It also creates a more town-like feeling in this area.
A-line has also received Deploy Zone adjustments to facilitate better combat without interfering with each other’s Deploy Zones. The A1A2 Deploy Zone has changed locations and has a reduced running distance to A2. Between A2 and A3 a new set of buildings has been added and this has also become the A2A3 Deploy Zone. This Deploy Zone also involves a more direct line of attack for the Attackers towards A3.
On the E-line extra forests and more objects have been added on the mountain between E1 and E2 to create better combat in this area and provide more cover for Infantry. Between E3 and O1 ‘Train Depot’ a new building has been added so Attackers have more cover while advancing towards O1.
Forward Airfield
Forward Airfield has also been tweaked and, based on Community suggestions, O3 ‘Church’ and the C-line have been adjusted to make this line more fun to play for both sides.
While the field boundaries in general have been adjusted to be less thick and harder to hide infantry, more trees have been added along the road between C2 and C3 to provide additional cover for Infantry. The Control Point C3 itself has been greatly enlarged with 2 new buildings added and more flanking positions to engage this Control Point.
For the O3 ‘Church’ the defenders only had one passage in which provided very difficult gameplay. To provide better opportunities and more possibilities for flanking, additional holes have been added in the walls, so the Defenders can attack from multiple directions.
