This update should prevent an issue where a hardware (or OS?) hiccup would cause the video capture to freeze. This means that any attempt to save a clip would result in video immediately before the issue occurred, and each additional attempt to save a clip would give an identical video. I've wanted to do more testing on this update before publishing it, but it's a pretty serious issue, that has happened to multiple users.
Since debugging the issue mentioned above was so tedious, I had been working on a few other things at the same time. The behavior of the record time setting has been changed. When changing the unit from seconds to minutes, if this results in an apparent change in recording time, it is now treated as an actual change in recording time. The previous behavior of only interpreting a change once the numerical value was changed by the user as an actual change lead to confusion for users.
