Previously only playable at offline events, the demo is now live and ready for players worldwide to experience for the first time. Step into the shoes of Yuria as she enrolls at an elite BAKUDO academy in search of her missing father — and face off against two intense boss battles that will put your skills to the test.
What's in the demo:
Introductory combat tutorial — learn the fundamentals of offense, defense, and rhythm
Two boss battles — including an early-stage encounter that captures the heart of BAKUDO's boss-rush action
It’s still an early development combat slice, so you might run into the occasional small hiccup.
In most cases, a quick restart should fix it.
We highly recommend playing with a controller
The combat system is tuned primarily for controller input.
If you have one nearby, plug it in — it makes a big difference.
Known Issues:
If you're using a non-16:9 display, we recommend playing in fullscreen or windowed mode to avoid potential UI alignment issues.
This is an early look at the evolving combat system, and we'll continue to refine and update it as development progresses. Run into a bug or have feedback? Drop it in Discord — we want to hear from you!
