Grab the ledge, you idiot! ːsteammockingː
One of the biggest frustrations in platformers, including my own, is the tendency for characters to fall even if they make contact with a ledge. As a kid, I used to yell at the screen, telling my character they could have just reached out and grabbed the ledge.
So, in my game, I decided to fix this issue. Now, if your character is close enough to a ledge and not too low when you hit the jump button, they will reach out and pull themselves up.
While this tweak does make the game easier, it also adds a smoother and more satisfying gameplay experience. So, grab that ledge, and don't fall all the way back down!
