Today is a very special day for us here at SCS Software, as Euro Truck Simulator 2 celebrates its 9th Birthday! Since its 8th anniversary a year ago, ETS2 has continued to grow and develop with the release of updates and content throughout the past year.
Our progress since the release in 2012 would not have been possible without the tremendous support from our #BestCommunityEver, which keeps us going every day! With many years ahead of us in ETS2, we look forward to bringing you more updates, developments, content, and more. We have lots of exciting things in the pipeline and we cannot wait to tell you about them when the time is right.
We'd love to hear your stories and memories of when you first started playing Euro Truck Simulator 2, so be sure to send us a tweet, comment, or message on our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). We thank you for your continued support and we look forward to spending many more years on the road with you!
Staying on topic with Euro Truck Simulator 2, last month we announced that we would be printing 5 exclusive posters featuring the original artwork of one of our artists, Annie, and that we would be signing and giving away 3 of them.
To choose a winner, we asked you to send us your best screenshots of the Renault Trucks Evolution in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and tag us on social media with the hashtag #RenaultTrucksEvolution.
Today we are excited to announce to you the 3 winners of the signed Renault Trucks Evolution artwork! Without further ado, here are our chosen winners of this special giveaway:
1. @__Huskie__
We really love the colors and landscape captured in this photo!
2. István-Fekete
We like the contrast between the old historic buildings and the new Renault Evolution!
3. 4brotrans
We love the yellow paint job on this rig. Clean, eye-catching, and modern!
Congratulations to our 3 winners, these pictures really impressed us! We will contact you shortly to ask for your details so we can ship the prize to you! We really hope you display these unique pieces of artwork with pride as they really are one of a kind.
However, it was not easy to pick just 3 winners, as there were many images that came close to taking the top spots; so we wanted to share some of these as well! You really do know how to take some incredible photos in-game!
And of course, there were hundreds of more like these posted across the social media channels. You really impressed us with all your creativity!
We thank you all for taking part in this special giveaway! We hope you had a lot of fun getting creative when taking photos of the new Renault Trucks Evolution in-game. However, this isn't the end for Renault Trucks, we look forward to bringing you more content in the future. Keep an eye out on our social media channels and here on the blog as always!
Also, be sure to join us for a Convoy Chill, Chat & Nostalgia Live Stream tonight as we drive together in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and reminisce the past 9 years since its release. While we don't have any plans to share any big news there today, we thought it'd be a nice opportunity to join us as we take a trip down memory lane. We will be live on Twitch and YouTube from 6pm CEST onwards, be sure to join us there!
