Ahoy, pirates!
Today is a big day! We are now able to move to the final test before releasing the game on Early Access, which is planned for October!
From Today, September 4th until September 11th everyone is welcome to join the open beta of IfSunSets and test what IfSunSets has to offer.
During this time you will be able to play the game without in-game time-limits or other restrictions.
The Beta might still have some bugs and issues, but if you provide feedback on any issues or tell us where you want to see improvement, we will listen to your opinions and will work hard to improve and refine IfSunSets!
Open Beta Features:
- Explore Luminora Island at daytime and protect yourself with crafted weapons and traps against the undead, who come for you when the sun sets for dawn!
- Multiplayer Mode with up to 4 players will be available
- During the open beta everyone will be able to explore the whole island.
(The Prologue Version only allows you to explore a tiny part of Luminora Island.)
- Build your own home with a variety of building options and make your home to a fortress.
- Conquer different regions of this Island. During the open beta, you will encounter all types of enemies, including elite monsters and even big boss monsters, If you defeat them, you will be able to receive special loot!
- Create various traps and defeat the undead who have conquered Luminora Island!
- Improve your skills and become a strong fighter.
- Build your own little ship. (You are a pirate after all)
- You can even go fishing or do some farming,
- Collect mystical ores, called 'Cthugha Stones', and uncover different hidden secrets across the island
- And there is so much more to do, but we want you to find out about it by yourself.
How to Access:
Go to the IfSunSets Shop Page and click on "Request Access" at the Join the IfSunSets Playtest section!
Known Issues:
- After character creation, if you tap the 'Esc' key on the game loading screen, the screen may freeze.
※ If this situation occurs, pressing the 'Esc' key once more will allow you to play the game normally. We apologize for the inconvenience and will work on a fix for this issue and provide an update as soon as possible.
Issue fixed with latest hotfix on September 9th, 2024.
Open Beta Save Data:
The save data of the open beta as well as the PROLOGUE version are not compatible with each other and progress on any of these versions cannot be transferred to the coming early access version of the IfSunSets. The open beta test version will only retain saves during the testing period. When the full game is released in early access, the save data of the beta will be deleted and cannot be accessed any longer.
System Requirements Information:
We will include AMD Processors and Graphics Cards into our System Requirements soon.
AMD Processors and Graphics cards are supported in game, but this is not reflected in the Steam Requirements section yet.
