Hello,
This is the IfSunSets development team.
We’re pleased to inform you that the game has been updated.
Thank you for your support!
■ Update Version: v0.8.9
■ Known Issue Resolved
There was an issue where opening and closing doors during the Night of the Dead caused significant frame drops.
This issue has now been resolved.
■ Known Issue
While improving performance and pathfinding for the Night of the Dead, we introduced an issue where monsters can mantle onto 1×1 cube structures but fail to climb back down, causing them to become stuck and stop moving.
We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will release a hotfix soon.
■ Major Updates
🗺️ The Map Has Been Revamped! (Quality of Life Update)
Explore the world to discover where materials can be found, and uncover which resources and monsters inhabit each region!
Use Exploration Maps to reveal each region's key resources and all obtainable materials.
Exploration Maps are scattered throughout the world. Even if you haven't found a map, simply entering a region will automatically unlock its information.
A new search feature has also been added, allowing you to quickly find materials and monsters.
If you've already unlocked a region and obtained its Exploration Map, you can use the item to gain EXP. You can also save these maps and use them in another world to unlock that region's information in advance.
We are continuously improving optimization and pathfinding for the Night of the Dead.
There is still plenty of room for further optimization.
Our goal is to keep delivering smoother performance and to continue improving the overall Night of the Dead experience.
While we've made significant improvements to pathfinding, AI priorities, and optimization, there are still issues that need further refinement and resolution.
We will continue working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible so you can enjoy a fully optimized and stable Night of the Dead experience.
Night of the Dead monsters can now navigate much more intelligently.
If a door stands in their way, they will charge in to break it down. If there is a path to reach the player, they will follow it to continue the chase.
Host-side load during the Night of the Dead has also been reduced.
