Hello,
This is the IfSunSets development team.
We’re pleased to inform you that the game has been updated.
Thank you for your support!
■ Update Version: v0.8.8
■ Known Issue
There is currently an issue where opening and closing doors during Night of the Dead may cause frame rate drops.
This occurs because the night monsters recalculate their pathfinding to the player whenever doors are opened or closed.
We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will release a hotfix once the fix is ready.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
■ Major Update Highlights
1.Ship docking has been removed, and the Ship Management window has been improved for greater convenience.
We have removed the automatic docking system that slowly moved your ship into the Bloody Kid Dock, as it often felt frustratingly sluggish.
When sailing near the Bloody Kid Dock, you can now simply press Z to open the Ship Management window instantly.
In addition, when talking to Bloody Kid and opening the Ship Management window, your ship can now be managed as long as it is near the dock—even if it has not been docked beforehand.
2.Enemy Ship Skill Update
The regular enemy sailing ships, not just the Titan, can now use ship skills.
Skill | Description |
|---|---|
Chain Shot | Some enemy ships use Chain Shot. When hit, your ship's movement speed and turning speed are reduced for a short time. |
Emergency Repair | Some enemy ships will restore their durability when their health becomes low. |
Defense Boost | Some enemy ships will increase their defense when their health becomes low. |
Attack Boost | Some enemy ships will increase their cannon damage when their health becomes low. |
3.Party System Rework
he Party System has been reworked.
1) The host is now always designated as the Host, and all other players are designated as Party Members.
2) Players who join the world will now automatically join the party. This feature can be enabled or disabled in the Party Settings.
3) Building permissions, such as moving or dismantling structures, are now shared among party members. In addition, the Host can remove any structure at any time through the party settings.
4) Experience distribution can now be set to one of two modes: Shared Equally or Individual Loot.
4. 23 New Skills for Melee Weapons
