As we welcome the New Year, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shown love and support for our game.
The coming year is known in Korea as the Year of the Red Horse, a symbol formed by the energy of fire and the spirit of the horse.
Inspired by this symbol, our development team will move forward with passion that burns brightly like fire,
and with development that charges ahead swiftly and steadily, like a powerful horse.
We will continue to run without rest, striving to create a game of even higher quality.
Thanks to the interest and feedback you shared with us over the past year, we were able to reflect, improve, and choose better directions.
To repay that trust, we are now preparing meaningful updates for the future.
In the new year, we promise to return with a more mature and improved version of ourselves.
We wish you continued health and good fortune in the year ahead,
and hope this Year of the Red Horse brings you strength, brilliance, and momentum.
Thank you always for your invaluable feedback and support.
And once again, Happy New Year to you all.
— The IfSunSets Development Team
P.S. We are doing our very best to prepare and release the ocean content.
Overall development is largely complete, but due to the vast scale of the open world,
we are currently focusing heavily on optimization and improvements to frame drops.
Unfortunately, this has caused some delays that we did not originally anticipate.
That said, the entire development team is fully committed and will do everything possible to deliver the content update as soon as we can.
Development Update
1. A variety of ocean-exclusive items have been fully developed, and we are currently in the process of debugging and polishing them.
2. The five Fragment Islands have been fully developed and are currently undergoing debugging and polishing.
However, we have encountered optimization issues, and we are now focusing our efforts on improving performance in this area.
3. A wide variety of underwater ecosystems has reached its first development milestone, and we are currently refining balance, resource placement, and resource quantities.
Because this update covers an extremely large area, we are placing strong emphasis on optimizing performance and reducing frame-freezing issues.
While this process is taking more time than expected, we are doing our utmost to ensure that you can enjoy the game in a smooth and comfortable environment.
4. A total of 250 fish species have been fully developed, and we are currently adjusting the items they drop and their overall balance.
Due to the sheer number of fish types, this process is taking longer than expected, but we are doing our best to move development forward as efficiently as possible.
We wish you nothing but good things in the days ahead.
Thank you sincerely.
