Hello Explorers,
Since the moment we launched our Kickstarter campaign, your support has absolutely blown us away. The enthusiasm and passion from our growing community have been incredible—especially the conversations happening across social media about Urthia and its unique mechanics.
Today, as a heartfelt thank you, we’re excited to unveil one of the most essential tools you’ll wield in your journey through Urthia:
🧭 The Magical Compass 🧭
A small device with big power—and your best friend when the skies get rough.
✨ What Is the Magical Compass?
Forged from burnished brass and ancient, riveted steel, the Magical Steamer-Compass is a fusion of arcane power and clockwork precision. Suspended in a miniaturized gyroscopic cradle, its floating needle spins with a soft hiss of steam, always pointing you toward home—your island’s spawn rudder.
Once it’s in your hands, it’s yours forever. Bound to you. Trusty. Eternal.
📖 A Glimpse into the Lore
Long ago, the alien Steamers crafted this incredible device for their own use—fusing otherworldly gear-steel with arcane resonance. Deep within its core beats the light of a Yellow Ignition Crystal, glowing with a ceaseless inner fire.
Etched in mysterious patterns not native to Urthia, the Magical Compass hums with a quiet mechanical purpose. It’s more than a tool—it’s a symbol of connection, guidance, and survival.
🎮 How It Works (In-Game Mechanics)
Always With You: The Magical Compass is a bound artifact. Once acquired, it permanently resides in your inventory. No losing it. No tossing it away.
Find Your Way: The needle always points to your island's spawn rudder, no matter how far you stray.
Homeward Vent: Activate the compass to initiate teleportation. After a short sequence, you'll reappear safely on your spawn platform.
🛠️ Survival Scenarios: Why It Matters
Ever been…
😱 Chased by a horde of wild monsters?
😵 Lost in a sprawling dungeon?
🪂 Flung off a floating island or soared too far on your glider?
Don’t panic.
The Magical Compass is your lifeline. Activate it and you’re back home, safe and sound.
Whether you're exploring distant ruins or dodging danger in the clouds, the Magical Compass is your steam-powered guardian—always humming softly by your side, ready to guide you home.
