Hello Strikers!
Feedback showed that some new players were waiting for the ball to fall down instead of using the map vertically, and it was giving the impression that the ball was not falling fast enough. We tried a build with a heavier ball and it was dreadful. The gameplay is more dynamic when players fly around the map, so we're giving an extra boost to hoist players up a little to encourage more jumping. Below is full changelog for this week.
- Player fall speed reduced to give more reaction time for interaction with platforms and vertical surfaces.
- New trail effect added to the ball to visually reward powerful shots and get closer to our target visual style.
- Bat power increased for weak swings. Feedback was taken into account to improve medium-range power shots.
- Adjusted player head and body collider to be thinner, making it less likely to get stuck when trying to climb or wall jump.
- Improved precision of the white circles on the ground that mark the ball's position.
