Welcome everyone to the new Demo!
This has been a complete overhaul of the game from the ground up. Without removing any of the satisfying leaf physics, I have added new multiplayer modes!
You can join up to 5 friends in a multiplayer multiplayer lobby where you can tackle career or freeplay jobs!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the multiplayer modes, so please feel free to submit feedback using the in-game forms! I’ll be keeping a close eye on any issues that arise and make sure they are fixed in a reasonable timeframe.
This is just the first rollout of multiplayer in the demo, with more features still to come! If you think, I’ve missed any features, please let me know using the feature request form in game. Please bear with me while I fix up any remaining issues, and help you with any new ones you find, there is still quite a bit of work to do as I prepare for Early Access.
Oh and don’t worry if multiplayer is not your thing. No content is locked off from solo players and all jobs, equipment, and leaf blowers are for everyone!
Multiplayer
New mode: Co-op, 6 players max.
This game mode is comprised of the Host and Assistants. Both the host and the assistants will earn cash and make progress through the career. Assistants can use any leaf blowers and equipment they have access to.
To host, you can create a lobby from the main menu. Once loaded in a join code will be created for your lobby and can be found in the menu.
To join an existing lobby, get the join code from the host or an assistant in the lobby and join from the main menu. The join code is hidden by default but can be revealed by clicking on it.
Known Issues and Workarounds
This is in a Beta state and we want as much feedback and community input as we can get so please do share. Currently, there are also a few known bugs that you should know about before diving in:
Large Leaf Piles
If you gather many leaves into a giant pile, the assistants connected to the host may notice a performance dip. This can be resolved by spreading the pile out or by collecting some of the leaves.
Timelapse Loading
When you complete 50% of a job, you can play a timelapse of your progress in the job details menu. If the host loads the timelapse, the assistants may notice a performance drop during the loading process.
New Features
Multiplayer Co-op
Enjoy peaceful manual labor with friends! You and up to 5 additional friends can join together to clear away every leaf in sight.
Controller Support
Controller support is back and better than ever!
Leaf Blower Toggle
Hand getting tired? You can toggle the leaf blower to stay in blowing or vacuuming mode! Check the controls list for which buttons will relieve your ache.
New Art Style
Combining voxel style with realism, this new art style fits my skillset more, so I can provide more content on a regular basis. Let me know what you think!
Better Feedback Forms
I’ve included 3 different feedback forms in the game. The general form is just to let me know what you think of the game. The bug report form will allow you to notify me of any issue you may encounter. The feature request form allows you to share any ideas you have for the game. Please use them to share any thoughts you have, so I can improve the game!
I hope everyone has an amazing time with the new multiplayer update! We apologize for any issues people run into but we hope to improve the mode throughout future development and appreciate all of your feedback!
