Good evening everyone! I never typically enjoyed the summer all that much. These heatwaves have made time between work dreadful, luckily for me I still had time to work on this project. (Despite all the sweat.) Today marks the middle of August, and yet another VOIDWATCH: CrossLust update. Here's where we are in the roadmap:
To Do: June | To Do: July | To Do: August |

As of this moment, I am just reaching the end of Page 108 of Act 2's narrative. To give you some perspective, our last update was on Page 84. While we are well past 50% completion, I am unhappy with the current progress. I believe I've been experiencing some burnout due to complications in my personal life paired with the feelings of never having enough time to do everything. Rest assured, I have taken the necessary precautions; especially since I am about to enter another semester of University in September.
Act 2 will be completed by the month's end, and progress towards Intermission 2 will begin immediately afterward. This will be the final update before the end of the Summer 2025 Roadmap concludes. Expect a look back at the progress made from Update #3 to Update #9, as well as the Fall 2025 Roadmap. This decision to reiterate the entire game once again, despite feelings of self-doubt; I am fully confident that it was the correct decision. Truth be told, I have no idea when this game will be ready for release. The earliest I can possibly say is Q3 of 2026, and that's IF everything goes to plan, but we all know that in this line of work; it never does the first time around.
I wanted to take the opportunity to be more personal with these updates as, I'm sure it's pretty anticlimactic when I can't spoil the details about the story itself in these updates; so I hope a look into my mind during these development and design periods is a good substitute. Thank you for making it this far! I look forward to seeing you all when the next progress update on August 31st, 2025 for Update #9 has been published!
