We're back with a new FREE update for the game featuring the previously announced MOON CHILD collaboration and a special free song addition to celebrate the launch of upcoming PC rhythm game In Falsus.
PATCH 2.3 IS LIVE ON PC!
To start, we're launching with an unprecedented four new songs in this update: MOON CHILD (UNBEATABLE'S LOVEADELIC RPG ADVENTURE REMIX) is a new in-house production remixing the 1997 original theme, and the classic Amiga and Windows versions are also playable too. Huge thanks to Metin Seven and Ramon Braumuller for allowing us to do this! If you like our brand new rendition of the titular theme, it's available to listen on our Bandcamp! See here:

Lastly, "Cryogenic" by Camellia ft. Petra Gurin, the marquee track for lowiro's new rhythm game, In Falsus, has been added as as playable track! In Falsus is a narrative-heavy rhythm game from the studio behind Arcaea, which we previously featured music from earlier in the year. We're honored to work with them again and celebrate their next release - which we think undeniably rules. If you enjoyed playing the song in UNBEATABLE, we highly recommend checking out In Falsus when it releases on September 9th, wishlistable here:

Minor improvements to latency in the core rhythm gameplay. More are being worked on!
This patch is available only on PC for now - because of scheduling conflicts with our porting house, the size of work on this patch, and ongoing work on the Switch 2 port, we have to shift the console update timeline slightly; rather than push back all updates, we're looking into bundling up several updates to drop on console in a single patch. This will help us ensure that everything launches as intended, and will also make sure console releases have all the PC hotfixes baked in at launch.
Of course, we still want to make sure consoles get these updates in a timely manner, so hang tight! We appreciate your patience in the meantime, and will share more details when we can!
On another note...
UNBEATABLE's music just got nominated for the WSA's Game Music Award! We're up against the likes of Ryan Lott's incredible, atmospherically eerie work on Marathon and Andrew Arcadi's 80s-inspired soundscape for Dispatch. This is a huge honor - although we'll probably need to figure out how to get to the festival first! Check out all the nominees here.
As always, more soon.
