UNBEATABLE DLC BUY NOW
Our first major DLC for UNBEATABLE, The Jamie Paige Content Companion, is available NOW! Jump into 12+ songs, new characters, new stages, and no secrets, all based on the music of our close collaborator (and now permanent fixture of our work chats), Jamie Paige.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL:
UNBEATABLE PATCH 2.2* IS LIVE
and it's bringing you the release of PATCH V2.2.0, adding both full Japanese and Simplified Chinese localization to the game, a free song in ARCADE MODE, and the addition of subtitles in select cutscenes in the game!
First, on the Japanese / Chinese localization: that's available now*! The full game is playable in both of those languages, and if you're a new player, you'll be offered the chance to choose your language before jumping in. If any issues come up, please report them directly in the Steam forums, we'll be making sure any issues or errors can be caught.
Because the songs are still in English, and several key sequences of the game have voices / singing that would otherwise lessen the impact for international audiences, we've made sure our subtitle system was finally complete for set cutscenes in the game!
And lastly, we have added one additional track to the ARCADE MODE today, free of charge, regardless if you buy our new DLC or not! NOT LOSING, one of the brawl tracks, has been adapted as a playable song. Check it out!
* For Console players, it'll be a few days; right now, the game is on Version 2.1, which includes the Jamie Paige DLC + Not Losing, but not the Japanese / Chinese localization and Subtitles. Those are still in the process of being approved for submission, and you'll be receiving the V2.2 patches ASAP.
THE JAMIE PAIGE CONTENT COMPANION Album is available now on Bandcamp!
All the brand new originals + remixes we've done for the JAMIE PAIGE CONTENT COMPANION are now available at dcellgames.bandcamp.com, in the form of "The Jamie Paige Content Companion's Official Content Companion". This includes NO EULOGIES, DREAM DIARY, MY UNIVERSAL, as well as the various remixes and covers we made bespoke for the DLC. It'll be on streaming at a later date.
UNBEATABLE on streaming!
At long last, you can now listen to ALBUM. on streaming platforms of your choosing beginning today! We also have been putting together the music for upload on YouTube, with regular uploads containing stylish visualizers made in-house at D-CELL. Expect [ost] to follow soon after those finish.
Of course, the best way you can support the SOUND TEAM and ensure we're able to continue making more tracks for the game is to purchase the soundtrack directly - to that end, a reminder that the music has and always will be available on Bandcamp, and iam8bit is producing CD / Vinyl runs of the main "ALBUM." release, which are available to pre-order!
To close today's big release announcements, here's the full patch notes for PATCH 2.2:
