Hi! We've gotten some reports about stutters and performance issues after our upgrade to Unity 6 - we're still investigating, but various improvements have already been made. Huge thanks to everyone who reported these issues and were willing to help test out these fixes.
GENERAL CHANGES
Fixed instances of performance degradation resulting from issues with memory allocation and garbage collection. These improvements span the whole game, but primarily affect sequences in Episode 4 onwards.
Improved performance in certain scenes during the game's final episode.
Made optimizations to the Episode 4 Alleyway concert.
ARCADE MODE CHANGES
Made optimizations to Stadium (Past), Stadium (Present), and the NSR Stage.
These changes will make their way to Console, alongside 1.8.1, when Patch 1.9.0 releases. For full changes on the PATCH 1.8.0 series of notes, take a look here:
As always, more soon!
