To all the Imperial Censors, Lords, and Peerless Heroes who have stayed with 《灵兽江湖》 through every high and low, may these words find you well.
The reworked 见喜堂 questline, originally scheduled for release by the end of July, will not be ready to meet you at the previously announced time.
First and foremost, the development team would like to sincerely apologize to every player who has been waiting for this update:
We are truly sorry to have kept you waiting.
The update has been postponed to Tuesday, August 4.
—————————— ◆ ——————————
There are several main reasons for this delay:
1. The amount of content exceeded our original estimates.
Part One and Part Two of the final 见喜堂 quest currently contain more than 90,000 Chinese characters of narrative text, along with a large number of choices and branching paths. Every route requires repeated testing, and the amount of debugging needed has proven greater than we initially anticipated.
2. A completely new map was created for this questline.
From building the map and configuring the quests to checking story triggers and the connections between different branches, every part requires additional time for testing and adjustment.
3. The 见喜堂 rework and the reworks of Chapters Five and Six of the main story are being developed simultaneously.
This brief delay to the 见喜堂 update will not affect the originally scheduled release date of the main-story rework. Work on the main story is continuing according to the existing development schedule.
Regardless of the circumstances, our failure to deliver the update by the previously announced date reflects an inaccurate assessment of the workload and development time on our part.
We are deeply sorry and would once again like to offer our sincere apologies to every Imperial Censor, Lord, and Peerless Hero.

We know that many players have been waiting closely for this update. Some have wondered whether the development team has stopped working, or even whether we have abandoned the game.
Please rest assured:
We have not abandoned the game, and development has not stopped.
Throughout this period, the team has continued writing, developing, revising, and repeatedly testing the story branches, quest triggers, and in-game content.
Thank you for your continued attention, criticism, patience, and understanding.
We are sorry to ask you to wait a few more days.
Please give us just a little more time.
We will see you in the game on August 4.
— Respectfully,
The 《灵兽江湖》 Development Team
