Steam Update – Quality of Life Patch v0.6.2
Wastelanders,
We’re back with a fresh patch and though this one is focused on quality of life, it packs some serious upgrades and much-requested fixes! As always, we’ve been reading your feedback, suggestions, and reports. Every improvement here is a direct result of your input and our team's relentless drive to make the game better with every step forward.
We work hard every day, not only to squash bugs and fine-tune mechanics but to continue shaping a world that feels alive, challenging, and deeply rewarding. Here’s what’s new in v0.6.2:
New Features & Improvements
Combat Side Steps – Dodge incoming enemy attacks by using arrow key + space. Time it right and avoid getting hit!

Crafting Behavior Update – When crafting an equipable item (like a backpack), it will now auto-equip with priority.
Introduced: Ron’s quest line – The story begins now and will continue soon!

Water Condenser Output Increased – More water, more survivability.
Tutorial Quests Updated – Streamlined and improved for new players.
Stone Pickaxe Reworked – Now called Makeshift Pickaxe, with a new 3D model.
Fixes & Tweaks
