v0.6 Is Just Around the Corner – Final Touches Are Underway

Hey Survivors,
It’s been an intense few months — since January, our team has been working day and night, pushing the limits to bring you the most ambitious update we’ve released so far. Every system, feature, and piece of content in v0.6 is the result of countless hours of development, testing, feedback, and iteration.

Originally, we had hoped to launch by the end of April. However, to ensure everything runs smoothly and meets our standards (and yours), we’ve decided to give ourselves just a little more time. v0.6 will now officially release on May 10th.

We know how excited many of you are for the new update — and we’re just as excited to share it. This short delay ensures we can properly finish testing and polishing everything so you can dive into a stable, immersive experience right from day one.

Here’s a breakdown of what we’ve been working on in April:
- Multiplayer Testing: We've run internal and community-based tests with our Discord members, identifying and squashing issues to ensure a smoother online experience.
- Network Optimization: Major strides were made to reduce latency, improve synchronization, and boost overall performance in multiplayer.
- New World Locations: We’ve expanded the world with new zones and factions. You’ll encounter friendly traders from OGD, TOS, and the Bandits, and you’ll be able to earn reputation through trading and quests.
- Faction Wars: Support the faction you align with as they fight to dominate and maintain control of outposts across the map — each outpost offers unique production buildings that can tip the balance of survival.
- Settlements & Junkyards: Discover new production spots and structures, adding more depth and possibilities to your survival strategies.
- New Items: We’ve added several pieces of gear including chestplate armors, shoulder armors, helmets, and new resources like Charcoal and Saltpeter.
- Item Icons: All-new item icons have been designed for a clearer and more immersive UI.
- Building System Updates: You can now remove foundations and platforms, giving you more flexibility in how you build and rebuild your base.
- Performance Optimizations: Across the board, we’ve reduced CPU load and improved memory usage to ensure a smoother experience for a wider range of systems.
We’re incredibly grateful to every one of you following and supporting our journey — your feedback and enthusiasm keep us going. May 10th is just a few days away, and we can’t wait to see you in the new world we’ve built together.
Until then — stay safe, stay sharp!
