🔹 PostApo – Alpha Update 0.2.2 | Patrol Guards & Multiplayer Fixes 🔹
Survivors, welcome to another PostApo update!
In this version, we introduce the first Patrol Guards, protectors of the Zone, who might just save your life. Additionally, we've fixed a major multiplayer issue related to water wells and water levels.
🆕 New Feature: Patrol Guards – The Defenders of the Zone 🏇
Meet the first protectors in the harsh world of the Zone – the Patrol Guards!
These fearless knights ensure the safety of those who deserve it.
💠 What do Patrol Guards do?
✅ They protect the defenseless – Currently, they can only be found in one location, but more will be added across the Zone in future updates.
✅ They gather around campfires – You’ll see them playing guitars, sharing stories, or chatting with one another.
✅ They will provide quests – In the future, some guards will offer tasks tied to their personal stories.
✅ They patrol and guard areas – Some guards will stand watch, while others will move through the Zone, ensuring safety.
✅ Realistic behavior – Occasionally, you might catch them eating and resting after a long patrol.
🔥 Warning: Not everyone in the Zone is as friendly as the Patrol Guards. Be sure to check who's sitting by the fire before you get too comfortable...
🔧 Fixes: Multiplayer & Water Wells 💧
One of the most frequent multiplayer issues was that connected players (clients) could not see the correct water levels in wells.
💦 This issue has now been fixed!
✅ Water levels now correctly synchronize between the host and clients.
✅ If a well is empty, all players will see it as empty.
✅ Water refills properly during rain, and all players can see the correct levels.
This fix is especially important for farming and survival, as managing water resources is crucial in the Zone.
⏭ What's coming next?
🔹 More Patrol Guards in various locations across the Zone
🔹 New dialogues and the first NPC quests
