Hello to all loyal PostApo players,
I'm bringing you a major update! The highlight of this update is the transition from Unreal Engine 5.2.1 to 5.4.4. This means more improvements, better graphics, and even higher FPS in the game.
Many changes and additions have been made to the game:
New Additions:
Contaminated zones on the game map
Air purifier
Anomalies
Mutants
Enhanced weather and sunlight
Toxic seas and water, and much more
First Quest:
Quest: Find the ceramic fuses
Objective:
Find and repair the air purifier to stop the spread of radiation.
Main Task:
Search the area and find three ceramic fuses.
Possible locations:
Inside the wreck of an old car
In an abandoned shack
Near a pile of rubble close to a warning sign
Side Objectives (Optional):
Gather hemp and blueberries to speed up the Zone’s purification:
Hemp: Found on the edges of the Zone. Rare but highly effective.
Blueberries: Grow in contaminated areas with high radiation. Use a protective suit.
Risks:
Radiation gradually spreads, making exploration harder and weakening your health. Keep an eye on your exposure meter.
Beware of mutations in some areas – they will attack if you get too close.
Bonus:
If you load both hemp and blueberries into the purifier, you’ll unlock accelerated purification, which dramatically reduces the radiation level in the Zone.
Quest Outcomes:
✅ Success:
The purifier is repaired, and radiation begins to recede. Using hemp and blueberries maximizes the effect.
Rewards: Supplies (water, equipment) or a map revealing unexplored areas.
❌ Failure:
Radiation spreads to your location, reducing your health, contaminating your base, and increasing the difficulty of future missions.
Warning: Mutants in the Zone
You’re not the only one trying to survive in the Zone. Mutants, twisted by radiation and contamination, pose a deadly threat. These unpredictable creatures have their weaknesses, but never underestimate them. They can become a part of the game world and your direct adversary.
What do mutants do?
Attacks on Machines:
Mutants often target your air purifier, which can slow down the Zone’s purification process. If they get close, they can severely damage it.
Thefts:
Blueberries and hemp are rare resources that speed up Zone purification. Mutants, knowing their value, steal them from your supply tanks or base.
Raids on Bases:
If players build a base, mutants can organize raids. They break walls, destroy equipment, and steal resources, forcing players to constantly defend themselves.
Language Update
I’m adding the Czech language to the game, and it’s currently about 59% complete. I’m continuing work on the translation.
Coming Soon:
Future updates will include bug fixes, new content, and exciting new quests.
Thank you for playing,
