Blade and barrel hungry for blood.
Thirsty for the sweet nectar of revenge.
Hey everyone!
Community Manager Liv here! I’m keen as a bee-n, (sorry), to be announcing what the Samurai Punk team has been cooking up for you all over the past few months!
After we released JUSTICE SUCKS, Nick started working on a side project prototype for a super cool bug FPS that he dubbed “A Bug’s Death”. After a few months of work, he got us all onboard to bring it to its final form, and KILLBUG was thrust from the womb of game development! 🐞
Now it’s getting ready to crawl onto Steam on May 3rd (PDT) / May 4th (AEST)!
(See how “crawl” worked as a bug joke and a baby joke? There are layers here, people.)
KILLBUG is a fast-paced, first-person movement shooter set in an endless arena. Slash and shoot your way through hordes of ravenous insects, mastering fluid aerial movement mechanics as you fight for glory on the leaderboards. 🐝
Features
- Battle a wide variety of savage insects.
- Destroy hundreds of bugs in fast-paced, brutal combat.
- Slash and shoot enemies with your blade and SMG.
- Utilize aerial movement mechanics to double-jump, melee-dash, gun-hover and more, quickly adapting to combat different enemy attacks.
- Sweat out a new high score on the global leaderboards, or compete to knock your friends off the top spot.
We’ll be streaming the game + hosting a Q&A in a Discord stage event on release day, so join our Discord server to be a part of that! ❤️
