Greetings fellow monster racers! In this first update we've focussed on improving network performance and the difficulty of the AI bots.
Here are the changes:
- Improved AI Bots: Bots now pick smarter ability and booster loadouts meaning hard bots are much more competitive. Winning a race is no walkover!
- Bot Personalities: We've also given unique looks for bots on the higher difficulty levels. If you're a OG player you'll see some familiar faces, as well as some new ones. Watch out for the T-1001!
- Networking: Reduced networking bandwidth by about 25%. You should experience less network-related hitches.
- In online matches the lobby now fills out straight away so you can see who you're racing against faster.
- Smoothed cameras, projectiles and crashes.
- Quality of life updates to the UI.
- Better matching of players in the same region.
- Many other minor bug and performance fixes.
