🏙️ How Cities Come Alive When Fans Arrive! 🌟
Today, we will focus on the moment when crowds of fans begin to arrive to COPA CITY. This is an important moment when you will be able to observe the visual effects of your preparations for the football festival.
We are optimizing the visual representation of fans of individual teams in different districts. Our goal is to ensure that a given part of the city pulsates with the colors and spirit of a specific club.
Let's take a look at how it looks in the case of a previously neutral district that changes under the influence of arriving Flamengo fans:
Fanzone and surroundings in neutral COPA CITY colors
Fanzone and surroundings in Flamengo club colors
Noticeable changes include:
- The gate in the fanzone adopts club colors
- Ball-shaped balloons adopt club colors
- Cable car wagons and the cable car stations themselves adopt club colors
- Not presented, but will also change colors - banners around the fanzone
- Signs on lampposts will adopt club colors
As you can see, the visual signs of club presence will be numerous, and you will easily be able to recognize which district the fans of a given club are in. Additionally, your cities will be decorated with club banners, making the dominance of a specific team visible from a further camera perspective.

We are constantly adjusting the number of elements so that there are not too many and do not cause unnecessary confusion, while still achieving the intended effect.
We are curious about your opinions on this visual aspect. Let us know! We would love to hear your ideas.
PS. Work on the new UI is in the final stretch! We present its refreshed version from the main game level below. However, we will dedicate a separate, extensive post to the new UI!

We’re continuously fine-tuning the balance
ensuring the cities feel vibrant and full of life without overwhelming the player visually.
