Thanks for all the feedback received during the Steam Next Fest!
I've just released an update for the demo addressing some of the issues you have found.
Here is the changelog:
- Improved loading times
- Now only enemies with long range weapons will be able to target characters in the back row
- You can directly click with the mouse on chests, buttons and doors to interact with them (and use right mouse button to pick a lock)
- Click the right mouse button on a character portrait to open the inventory for that character
- The hit roll is now based on a d100 instead of a d20. Also, every point of difference between ATK and DEF is counted and you no longer have to reach at least 10 points of difference to see changes
- The chance to hit the target is now displayed in the attack icon description
- Fullscreen mode bug fixed
- Added a graphical display of attributes during the character creation
- Increased the cost of hiring a gladiator; also increased the initial amount of money
- Minor bug fix
