Greetings, dear friends and subscribers of the project. A lot of work has been done in the "Effect of Life" project, starting from the addition of many items, and a significant expansion of underground locations. Now I want to tell you about several innovations in the game that will make the game easier for you and give you new opportunities.
1. Items that we can create in crafting are now available for disassembly for spare parts, and not only those items from the crafting list, but also extracted items from the world, such as equipment, drones, weapons, devices and resources. Thus, the weapons or equipment that we are tired of when parsing will give us a second chance to take these spare parts and create another similar equipment or weapons of this series. Disassembling objects has a small chance of damaging parts, as a result of which we may lose
several parts.
2. Added quick access slots for instant use of items, this will allow you to activate equipment, drones and other items without opening inventory. Quick Access slots allow you to quickly react to the use of items in combat or important and dangerous events in the game. Now if you hold an item in the inventory with the left mouse button and start transferring it, all slots where this item can be installed will be highlighted to facilitate equipment, as well as already equipped items in the inventory will be highlighted for instant visual detection.
3. Added the ability to pick up items by clicking the left mouse button on the icon, previously we could pick up items only in a radius around the character, or if there are a lot of items, and for example we don't need to pick up everything, but only the right ones, then it was a little uncomfortable, now with a large amount of loot in one place, we easily choose the items that we need.
4. The first items have been added to strengthen the companion, depending on the characteristics of the injection or the food item, you can increase the characteristics of the creature forever, it can be strength, food, water, health and in the future new added parameters. The companions have added a scale of water consumption, previously there was only food and health. It is planned to add items to strengthen not only the companions, but also the character himself.
5. Earlier in the game development reviews, I showed an enemy scanning system, with which you can find out the parameters of the enemy's strength, health, as well as his weaknesses and a list of items that can be obtained from him, now the ability to scan resources and add them to the database has been added. This way we will be able to know exactly what items are extracted from the resource, its description and characteristics.
6. The corpse of the character now gives you the opportunity to pick up your lost inventory items at death. When a character dies, the entire inventory is transferred to the corpse, you have an hour to return and pick up your things. If a long time passes, only bones remain from the corpse, and after a while it dissolves, and objects will no longer be able to be picked up. Therefore, if a character died among a crowd of monsters and you do not have the opportunity to pick up inventory items, you can go to the base or a cache that will arm itself and recapture things, the corpse is preserved.
A lot has been done recently in the project, a lot of weapons and items have been added, a lot of work is being done on a significant expansion of locations and the creation of an entire underground world. Each of you can help the project, subscribe to the channel, discord server and post comments, suggestions and ideas to improve the game, soon you will all be able to immerse yourself in this universe.
