"Get Your Tantecales Off My Waifu" is coming to Steam!
We are working on the last changes for the release, which is mostly overhauling the current dialogs. The ones we have in the game are linear and without any interactivity. We want to get this part right, because right now it is the weakest part.
We also have a lot of nice-to-have goals for the release and after two days of coding we can say that all that is left is creating the necessary content. All that is left to the release is to dialogs and to set up some game logic.
Our guess is that we may be able to release both the demo and Early Access version at the end of April. If things go really slow maybe at the end of May. We still have to figure out how complicated it will be to write dialogs for the first five levels and how chaotic it will be. That's why we prefer to under-promise, so that if things go well we can over-deliver - and if not that you don't have to suffer through a million delays from development hell.
Lastly have a list with the things we want to have in the release:
- Basic Interactive Dialogs for the first 5 Levels
- Option to allow Heavy story Impact on Gameplay
- Optional feature that saved Waifus do not longer spawn in levels
- Optional feature that Level 5 stops and can never be played again when you allow the Antagonist to keep the Tsundere Waifu
- An option which turns every occurrence of Husbando into Horsebando
