The publisher of Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade, GSE, has unilaterally withdrawn from its role as the publisher on the Steam platform as of May 21, without any prior notice, communication, or coordination.
This unexpected move disregards the duties of a publisher and constitutes a serious breach of contract.
7QUARK will continue to maintain and support Yasha: LDB across all platforms, striving to improve the product.
(Support and updates will continue for both the Steam and console versions.)
As a result, starting May 22, 7QUARK will assume full operational responsibility for the Steam platform.
Our first action will be to adjust the global pricing to match Steam’s recommended regional pricing. We will no longer apply separate regional price adjustments.
The base price on Steam will be set at USD $13.99.
Due to Steam’s restrictions on unofficial refund channels, players wishing to request a refund must go through Steam Support.
If you are unable to process a refund through Steam, 7QUARK will assist in communicating with the platform on your behalf.
Please note that publishing, sales, and pricing for console versions remain under GSE’s control. 7QUARK is not authorized to handle customer support for console platforms. We appreciate your understanding.
In the coming days, we will announce a short-term update roadmap for the game, including revisions to Taketora’s storyline.
— Sincerely,
The Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade Team at 7QUARK
