Hello everyone! We are excited to share more details about the upcoming Beta of UNITED 1944. Read on!
- Our plan is to do our first Beta during the second half of April, during a weekend.
- The beta will last 3 days, on a weekend, so you’ll be able to play Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- The beta will run for about four hours a day.
- The main goal of the beta is to get your feedback on the game and for us to test out our server infrastructure.
- The scale of the first Beta will be small, with future Betas being larger
- The game is basically complete, with the only restriction that we will be playing on one map only: North Africa, and one game mode only: Domination.
- Here is the map of North Africa. Get used to it, you’ll be fighting there soon!
- The Domination game mode entails two teams of 16 players fighting for territorial control of a city.
- Whichever team manages to destroy all enemy bases or hold the majority of bases for a longer time wins the battle.
- Gather Documents to establish outposts. And fight for territorial control until only one team remains.
- A typical battle lasts 30-45 minutes.
- The game supports player parties of up to 4 players, and voice chat. So get your friends and mics ready.
- Needless to say, the Beta is completely FREE. All we request is feedback that helps us make the game better.
- The beta will be done using Steam playtest. So, all you have to do is wishlist us to be in the loop.
- However, all our communication with the community on a daily basis is on Discord. Make sure you join our Discord so you don’t miss anything
