RaidZone content updates
Optimizations - RaidZone Mode
Gathering
1. Gathering Node Mechanic Adjustments and Optimizations
We've removed some gathering nodes that interfere with PvP or cause visual clutter, while ensuring that farming is minimally affected:
a) More Realistic Environments: Removed unnecessary Stone, Sulfur, Shellfish, and Kelp nodes along the coastline, improving the appearance and realism of coastal environments.
b) Simplified Nodes: Removed Tin Ore nodes that would occasionally appear on the map.
c) Reduced Plant Clutter and Seed Compensation:
i. Removed plants that may cause visual interference from the map, including Scarlet Calamus, Sage, Bellflower, Honeysuckle, Coneflower, Yellow Lotus, and Saffron.
ii. For Farming Metas Only: To protect the farming experience, seeds for the above plants are now sold by merchants in all neutral settlements. You can continue to grow them in your territory.
d) Optimized Resource Guidance:
i. All fruit and edible plants have been retained.
ii. Increased the model size of Aloe Vera in the wilderness, making them more conspicuous. This should make it easier for you to find them and acquire Plant Fiber, an important survival material.
2. Regional Resource Re-allocation
We've adjusted the distribution of ores and plants in RaidZone to ensure a better match with their environments, while creating differentiation between regions.
Plains Region (lower right of map, near the new player spawn area):
Most: Copper, Aloe Vera
Average: Stone, Sulfur
Least: Iron, Tungsten
Forest Region (lower left of map):
Most: Iron, Tungsten
Average: Copper, Aloe Vera
Least: Stone, Sulfur
Desert Region (top of map):
Most: Stone, Sulfur
Average: Iron, Tungsten
Least: Copper, Aloe Vera
Region | Plains Region | Forest Region | Desert Region |
Stone | Average | Less | More |
Copper Ore | More | Average | Less |
Iron Ore | Less | More | Average |
Tungsten Ore | Less | More | Average |
Sulfur Ore | Average | Less | More |
Aloe Vera / Deviated Aloe Vera | More | Average | Less |
Upgraded Meteor Summoner
The Meteor Summoner can now blow up ore deposits! If you destroy an ore deposit when driving the Meteor Summoner, it'll even yield additional resources!
Territory Construction
1. Optimized trap facilities.
a) We've noticed that the Shotgun Turret has a high barrier to entry in actual use, so we've made the following adjustments to improve its usability:
i. More Ways to Obtain: Added more ways to obtain the Shotgun Turret. You'll have a chance of obtaining a Shotgun Turret when searching trash cans, storage crates, and defeating Deviants in the wilderness.
ii. Reduced Build Cost: Optimized the Shotgun Turret formula. It no longer requires Wood or Memory Chips, and its Steel Ingot cost has been reduced from 60 to 40. However, it now requires Military Parts to build.
iii. Improved Mechanics: The Shotgun Turret no longer needs electricity to operate. Just place it, and it'll start working. This should make it easier to set up your territory's defenses.
b) The Rifle Turret no longer requires Auto Turret Controllers to repair, reducing its overall repair cost.
c) Improved the Flamethrower's combat performance, increasing its direct damage by 4 points.
d) Reduced the Flamethrower's build cost. Its Steel Ingot cost has been reduced from 40 to 20. This should make it easier to set up your territory's defenses.
e) The Flamethrower Fuel Canister can now be crafted at a Primary Supplies Workbench, making it easier to access in the early game.
2. Optimized the load-bearing issue with doors and windows. Doors and windows no longer cost any load-bearing coefficient.
Bug Fixes - RaidZone Mode
Wilderness
Fixed an issue with the pick-up animation.
Custom Server Updates
Added Endless Dream scenarios with the Lunar Revelry Visional tag.
Optimization - All Modes
Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve
1. Changed the layout of Deviation information panels, adding Skill Rating and other details. The highly requested filter function is also in development, so stay tuned!
2. Reduced the frequency at which By-the-Wind would spawn in the wilderness in some situations.
3. Following your feedback, we've made the following balance adjustments to the damage of some Deviations and Gyms:
a) Currently, the difficulty of acquiring healing items early on means that the Fresh Green and Hot Spring Gyms are overly difficult. This update will reduce the damage dealt by the sidekick Deviations in these gyms.
b) Significantly increased the strength of Dr. Teddy's Psi Skill. Each heal amount has been increased from 161% to 180% of Attack, and the number of heals has been increased from 3 to 6.
c) Corrected the damage of Snow Globe's Psi Skill. Each hit now deals 160% of Attack as damage.
d) Changed the duration of Rebecca's Psi Skill to 9 seconds.
e) Fixed an issue where the area of effect of the meteor in Invincible Sun's Psi Skill was too small.
We will monitor the impact of these balance adjustments to assess if further changes are necessary. To ensure a smooth transition, we will issue Binding Grenade V ×5, Skill Mutagen - Rapid Charge ×3, Skill Mutagen - Psi Ray ×3, Skill Mutagen - Blink Strike ×3, Skill Mutagen - Group Elemental Overload ×3, and Skill Mutagen - Group Physical Enhancement ×3 to all Metas in Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve servers after this update.
4. Adjusted the completion conditions for tasks related to the Deviation League in the Main Story Task.
Shop
1. Optimized some female character animations.
2. Optimized the default pose of male characters in the interface.
Camera
To help you capture stunning shots of the scenery and your adventures in Nalcott, we've upgraded the Camera system as follows:
1. Hide Deviants: While in Camera mode, you can now choose to hide Deviants, allowing you to frame a perfect shot without their interference.
2. Increased Camera Freedom: Increased the maximum zoom-out distance and height adjustment range. You can now achieve a wider field of view and more varied composition angles, enabling you to capture more exciting shots.
3. Cloud Gallery Optimizations: Optimized the interface of the cloud gallery. The gallery is now more visually appealing and user-friendly, making it easier to review and manage your precious memories.
4. Improved Interactions: We've implemented targeted optimizations for issues with illogical interaction prompts. Interactions should now be more intuitive, improving the general gameplay experience.
Territory Construction
1.Non-RaidZone only: Increased the territory structure limit from 700 to 1,400. Increased the territory furniture limit from 250 to 900.
2. Following your feedback, this update will optimize the basic controls of Construction mode as follows:
a) When copying a structure or facility, its skin and wallpaper will also be copied, so you won't have to reapply them.
b) The system will now remember and automatically apply your last chosen skin, even if you switch to a different type of structure. This makes construction more convenient.
c) When upgrading a structure's material or level, its original skin and wallpaper will no longer be removed.
d) If a structure appears worn down due to low Durability, removing its skin or wallpaper will now retain its worn-down appearance, matching its actual Durability value.
e) The visual effect of selecting a structure has been changed from a blue fill to a green outline, providing clearer visual feedback.
f) Hovering on a structure will no longer hide its skin or wallpaper, ensuring visual consistency.
g) Optimized the icon style of the Foundation category in the Construction menu, making it clearer and easier to identify.
3. Non-RaidZone only: Changed the Building Master Memetic to only increase the Max Durability of all structures by 50%. Changed the Stone Structures: Intense Defense Memetic to only increase the Max Durability of stone structures by 150%. If you've already activated these two Memetics, you'll receive an item that lets you reset your Memetic build.
Social
Optimized the friend invitation feature. You can now invite a friend to join your team from their namecard.
Dream Zone Invasion
In response to your feedback, we're increasing the rewards granted by the Dream Zone Invasion game mode:
1. Greatly increased the amount of Reality Fragments obtained.
2. Increased the chance of obtaining mods. Added a chance to obtain two mod crates at once on higher difficulties.
Tasks
Changed the locations of some side story task NPCs in the Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve scenario.
