Fair Play Announcement (October 31st, 2025 – November 6th, 2025)

11 Nov 2025Developer post

Source: Steam Community (opens in a new tab)

Dear Metas,

From October 31st to November 6th, Once Human banned a total of 115 Players. This includes 105 players penalized for cheating, 10 players penalized for malicious interference.

Because the AI model is still being updated, backend monitoring data shows there is still a slight chance of false bans being triggered. If you have any questions or concerns about a penalty, please submit an appeal through the in-game appeal screen. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We've continued to receive reports from Metas about cheating behavior. This week's most frequent offenses include flying, abnormal damage values and range, teleporting. We've promptly verified and taken action on these cases.

Additionally, we're working on implementing a series of anti-cheat measures, targeting both cheaters and studio-run alt accounts. These measures are being rolled out in phases and will be completed in the near future. We appreciate your patience and support. If you come across any violations in-game, please report them through the official reporting channel. We will review and address unfair behavior as quickly as possible. Let's work together to maintain a fair and healthy game environment and combat malicious actions. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Below is a list of players recently penalized for severe violations. The accounts involved have been reviewed and confirmed to be in violation. For any questions, please contact in-game customer support.

1. Language violations

From October 31st to November 6th, 2025, a total of 156 players received bans of varying durations for language violations:

30 days — 7 players

7 days — 7 players

1 day — 110 players

2 hours — 32 players

(Due to space limitations, we do not provide the list of players banned for speech violations.)

We've been paying close attention to feedback regarding the chat restriction system and have launched a focused optimization effort. Improvements include upgraded smart filtering to reduce false positives and better manual review processes for more accurate judgment. We'll continue refining this system to make communication smoother.

This world is brought to life by your interactions—whether you're sharing highlights or fighting alongside friends, every sincere exchange brings warmth to the game. We hope everyone uses kind words to build meaningful memories and protect the beauty of the world of Nalcott together.

2. Use of cheats or hacks

We will identify the characteristics of newly discovered cheats and use them for retroactive investigations. After banning an account, we will check if it has any associated "alt" accounts and ban those as well.

The following is the list of players penalized for using cheats or hacks from October 31st to November 6th, 2025:

3. Malicious exploitation of game mechanics to disrupt others (e.g., blocking roads with vehicles, intentional interference, obstructive building placement, etc.)

We take a firm stance against behaviors that disrupt others' gaming experiences. If you come across such behavior, please report it via the in-game reporting system or to customer support.

Going forward, any verified malicious behavior that disrupts gameplay will result in immediate bans. We encourage all Meta-Humans to play responsibly and help us maintain a fair and enjoyable gaming environment.

Below is the list of players penalized for maliciously exploiting game mechanics between October 31st to November 6th, 2025. Due to space limitations, only ban records are displayed:
