Visional Wheel S2 – Lunar Revelry
The Visional Wheel turns, and a crimson moon rises once again, bringing stronger forces to bear upon Nalcott. The Blood Moon will manipulate Nalcott for its amusement, provoking conflict among humans with tempting treasures. Only by defeating its avatar, the Lord of Moonlight, will you earn the ultimate reward.
Visional Wheel Period: September 24, post-update (PT) – End time TBD
Affected Scenarios: Manibus (excluding novice), Evolution's Call, Prismverse's Clash, The Way of Winter, Endless Dream
Every day from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (30 minutes in real time, double that of S0: Lunar Oracle), as day turns to night, the Blood Moon will rise over Nalcott. During this time, Deviants will grow stronger, and Meta-Humans will be infected with Lunacy, diminishing their Sanity.
Rules:
1. While in Lunacy, Metas of at least Lv. 20 with Lunar Whispers will be subject to the moon's gaze. When the gaze's intensity reaches a certain level, the Lord of Moonlight will try to attack you and steal some of your Lunar Whispers before fleeing. Watch the map to pursue it!
2. The Lord of Moonlight will summon Lunarspawn to defend itself. When it's near death, it will also use an Adrenaline Shot and gain the ability to clone nearby Metas to confuse you.
3. The Lord of Moonlight's strength scales with the number of participating Metas. In some situations, the Lord of Moonlight has a chance to transform into a stronger [Phantom] Lord of Moonlight.
4. After the Lord of Moonlight is defeated, the Lunar Whispers it stole will be recovered by their original owner, who will also receive a certain percentage of bonus Lunar Whispers.
5. The Lord of Moonlight drops a chest upon defeat. Metas who participated in the battle and the original owner can open the chest.
6. In Endless Dream, the Lord of Moonlight is unaffected by Dream Zones, keeping its difficulty in line with other scenarios.

New armor

New Events
S2 limited-time event – Omen of Affliction
NOTE: This event is available on open Visional Wheel servers.
Event Period: September 24, post-update (PT) – End time TBD
Unite across sectors to fight the Lord of Moonlight and claim the hidden treasures!
(* Content is under development. Final version may differ.)
Rules:
1. The Blood Moon will divide Nalcott into sectors. Metas in each sector must band together to defeat the Lord of Moonlight. If you defeat the Lord of Moonlight within the event period, you will gain Lunar Essence, which you can submit to earn an equal number of sector points.
2. To encourage participation and challenge their teamwork, there will be seven rounds of 2v2 trial matches between sectors. When submitting Lunar Essence, you can vote for a Lunar Omen to inflict the opposing sector. This will affect the abilities of their Lord of Moonlight. There are six Lunar Omens in total. The more Lunar Essence your sector submits, the stronger the omen's effects. The three Lunar Omens with the most votes will take effect in the opposing sector, creating different levels of difficulty.
3. Each round of matches lasts one week. The sector that earns the most sector points during this time will earn 1 victory point. Unite to resist the Blood Moon and receive the ultimate glory!
* As the Lord of Moonlight is a formidable opponent, sectors will be divided by time zone (region) to make it easier for you to challenge it together. You can check your sector on the event screen.

RaidZone content updates
Content/feature updates (RaidZone)
Airdrops
Aerial Loot will be renamed to Echoite Crates after this update, bringing new and improved airdrop mechanics! Fights for resources are about to become more exciting and strategic! The highlights are as follows:
1. Optimized the airdrop mechanic. Now, Rosetta Echoite Transporters will spawn on the map, flying between large strongholds and dropping Echoite Crates at random. Predict their flight paths, then deploy and wait along their routes. Strategy is the key to victory!
2. Echoite Crates will deploy a parachute and descend slowly after being released. When an Echoite Crate lands, Metas can open it and retrieve its contents. Once an Echoite Crate appears, you can view its location on the map.
3. Added a new item: Airdrop Flare. It can be obtained as a chance drop from Rosetta Boss Elites or by opening Realm Crates. The more advanced the Realm Crate, the more likely it'll contain an Airdrop Flare.
4. Using an Airdrop Flare will summon an airdrop at its location. After some time, one Echoite Crate will drop at the marked point. Be careful, because using an Airdrop Flare may expose your position!
New Weapons - RaidZone Mode
1. Nail Gun
Submachine gun. Has a slow fire rate and short range, but it's cheap and easy to make, making it perfect for close-quarters combat in the early game.
This weapon can be unlocked with very few Memory Chips and crafted at a Primary Gear Workbench or better. Its Memetic is located below the Rusted Blade.
The Nail Gun uses exclusive ammunition, Nail Gun Bullets, that can be retrieved like arrows.
DMG per shot: 13
Fire Rate: 400
Magazine Capacity: 18
2. SKS
Sniper rifle that uses medium-caliber ammunition. High recoil but fast max Fire Rate, ideal for mid-range burst suppression.
Its Memetic is located below the MPS7. It can be crafted at an Intermediate Gear Workbench or better.
DMG per shot: 30
Fire Rate: 257
Magazine Capacity: 15
3. PDW90
Submachine gun that uses small-caliber ammunition. Boasts rapid fire and a large-capacity magazine, with a compact design perfect for close-quarters combat.
Its Memetic is located below the Tactical Rifle Scope. It can be crafted at an Advanced Gear Workbench.
Damage per shot: 12
Fire Rate: 800
Magazine Capacity: 50
Optimizations - RaidZone Mode
Combat
1. Memetic adjustments:
1) Added the Nail Gun, SKS, and PDW90 Memetics.
2) Removed the SOCR Memetic. You can no longer craft SOCR weapons, but can still find them in the wilderness.
3) Moved the KAM Memetic below the PDW90, replacing the SOCR's role. Its rarity has been increased from Rare to Epic, and its DMG increased from 15 to 18. You can still use any KAM weapons you own.
2. Balance adjustments:
1) Weapon trajectory and spread adjustments:
a) All weapons' OTS field of view +20%
b) All weapons' ADS field of view -10%
c) All weapons' bullet velocity (excluding sniper rifles) +20%
Currently, players prefer over-the-shoulder (OTS) aiming for mid-range combat as it has low bullet spread and a wider field of view. We want players to use different aiming methods based on distance, mixing and matching them with various weapon accessories and ammo types. Hence, we've increased the initial bullet velocity for all weapons (except sniper rifles) and adjusted the bullet spread for both OTS and ADS views.
In November (PT), we'll introduce phased bullet trajectories. At close range, all weapons will fire in a straight line, providing more immediate feedback during close-range combat. At medium to long range, bullets will still have travel speed and bullet drop. Stay tuned!
2) Light machine gun optimizations:
Currently, light machine guns don't feel very different from assault rifles in combat, but have a larger bullet spread. This doesn't justify their high crafting cost. We'll optimize light machine guns to provide sustained suppression at medium to long range, synergizing with their high bullet velocity and large magazine capacity. Their bullet trajectory and recoil will also become more stable the longer you fire:
a) MG4
Magazine Capacity: 60 → 100
Reload Speed: 33 → 12; Duration: 4.2s → 5s
Switching Weapons Duration: +10%
OTS/ADS Movement Speed: -10%
During continuous fire, bullet spread gradually decreases, and recoil gradually stabilizes.
b) KVD - Boom! Boom!
Magazine Capacity: 65 → 100
Switching Weapons Duration: +10%
OTS/ADS Movement Speed: -10%
During continuous fire, bullet spread gradually decreases, and recoil gradually stabilizes.
3) Weapon accessory balance adjustments:
a) Reflex Sight:
New bonus: Stability +8
b) Tactical Rifle Scope:
Removed Stability and Mobility penalties.
4) Armor balance adjustments:
a) Tactical Combat Shoes:
Force Bonus: 10 → 20
b) Gas Mask Hood:
Force Bonus: 20 → 30
c) Shaman Vulture:
Force Bonus: 30 → 45
Item Storage Optimization
The storage system for production facilities has been optimized:
1) If your backpack is full, you can no longer claim items from the production queue.
2) When dismantling a facility, both in-progress and completed items will drop on the ground.
3) Canceling production will refund materials based on their source. If your backpack is full, the materials will drop on the ground.
Fair Play Optimizations
1. Optimized the wall-penetration detection to fix false positives when opening or closing doors, and fixed cases where character displacement during construction could trigger false bans.
2. Enhanced detection for abnormal behaviors such as melee abuse, pulling other players, and teleport exploits. We will continue to optimize these systems and patrol actively to eliminate unfair play. Metas, thank you for helping us keep the game fair and healthy. Stay alert for malicious behavior!
Bug Fixes - RaidZone Mode
Combat
Fixed an issue where the Reflex Sight displayed incorrectly after using Festering Gel's battle skill.
Optimization - All Modes
Construction
1. Optimized controller navigation in the Visibility settings menu.
2. Added a mirroring feature in Construction mode; shortcut key: H.
3. In the construction screen, mirrored structures now show only a single base structure, with a mirroring icon in the lower-right corner.
4. Skins selected during construction now support mirroring as well. If a skin has no mirrored version, it will default to the base structure.
*Note: To adapt to the mirror model, we have adjusted the initial coordinates of certain mirror structures. This may affect the orientation of existing constructions such as stairs and other structures. Metas can dismantle and rebuild them to recover normal functionality.
For more information, see
5. For non-RaidZone modes: Added the Storage Terminal facility. Once placed, you can centrally manage all storage crates in your territory and quickly store or retrieve items.

Combat
1. Loadout and weapon accessory/cosmetic configuration save optimizations:
1) Loadout saves now also include weapon accessory setups.
2) The loadout detail page no longer lists individual mods separately. It now uses the same display style as the gear screen, giving you a clearer full-set preview.
3) When replacing a weapon with another of the same blueprint, its mods, accessories, and cosmetic settings will automatically transfer.
2. Added unique hit sound effects when damaging buildings or vehicles with firearms.
3. Weapon scope improvements:
1) Reduced reticle overexposure when aiming in certain situations.
2) Scope lenses now reflect the environment and light sources when not aiming.
Game Modes
1. Improved immersion by increasing Rosetta and Vultures' turning speed. They now turn toward the source of footsteps and gunfire more quickly.
2. For non-RaidZone modes: Securement Silos will now match the number and strength of stage Deviants based on participant count, and a Primary Gear Workbench has been added for gear repairs.
3. For non-RaidZone modes: Optimized the appearance of certain Deviants and items in Endless Dream.
Social Feature Optimized
Added a batch management feature for friends.
Mobile-Specific Optimizations
Added destruction effects for territory objects when they are damaged.
Other
