Dear Metas:
The world is changing, and stranger things are creeping close... Welcome to our new scenario—Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve! In this world, Deviations will break free from their restraints, allowing you to encounter them in a more natural and lively state! Early Access for Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve will launch on September 24(PT). We invite you to be the first to experience this new world, in which you'll explore and fight alongside your Deviation companions. This Early Access will feature massive gameplay changes. We can't wait to explore this unknown and challenging world with you!
* Early Access Details: Due to significant gameplay differences between scenarios, we've decided to preview new scenarios in Early Access before their official launch to ensure the best quality. Our aim during Early Access is to gather as much feedback as possible to make the game more fun and engaging. Therefore, we hope you'll share your thoughts and suggestions through the Feedback Platform. We'll check your feedback regularly and use it to optimize the scenario. Thank you for helping us to improve Once Human! (Feedback Platform: https://www.oncehuman.game/grfkpt/)
I. Core Gameplay Changes
Delve into a Deviation ecosystem
Deviations can be found in every corner of this world. It's clear that they're the ones in charge! Some Deviations may even hide their tracks following special rules. You must craft unique capturing items and learn each Deviation's habits to secure them all!
Awaken Deviation abilities
Having broken free from the Cradle, Deviations will now join you as lively companions! Whether in exploration, combat, or territory work, each Deviation has unique abilities that you must unleash to their full potential!
Customize your Deviation team
Strategy is everything! You can form a team of up to three Deviations. Mix and match their unique traits to create battle squads for various situations.
Engage in Deviation battles
Challenge the NPC-run arenas, or go head-to-head with other Metas in thrilling real-time matches! The key to victory isn't strength, but your bond with your Deviations!
Secure the Chaos Deviations
Hidden across the world are powerful Chaos Deviations with strange forms and terrifying power. They are the source of this world's troubles! Your task is to uncover their mysteries and secure them for good!
Deviation Fusion
The highly anticipated Deviation fusion system will debut in all scenarios after the September 24(PT) update! You can fuse Deviations with each other, or even with animals and furniture, to create unique entities with interesting and amusing traits.
You can fuse two Deviations. The resulting Deviation will randomly inherit its type and trait from the source Deviations. The source Deviations are not consumed during fusion, but each source Deviation can only be fused once. During fusion, you can also add extra fusion materials (e.g., Deviations, furniture) that will affect the result probabilities or even add new traits! Come and unleash your creativity!
* Fusion materials are consumed during fusion. Please proceed with caution.
II. Gameplay Details
Early Access content
Only select Deviations will be available during Early Access. More Deviations will be added in the final release.
Changes to the cross-scenario inheritance rules
Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve has unique Deviation battle rules that are different from other scenarios. When you bring Deviations into this scenario, their skills and stats will be adapted to the scenario's rules. Some Deviations are not yet available in this scenario and cannot be brought in. Thank you for your understanding and support.
