We are a small team and the game is still in an early stage. There will be many problems—some we already know, and many we don’t. We will face them honestly and keep improving. Your feedback is very important to us.
Things You May Notice
Characters get stuck or don’t work
Our characters are 2 tiles tall. If the space is lower than that, they may get stuck or stop working. Please check the paths first. We will add more hints later to make this clearer.
Characters don’t eat
Characters need mushrooms or mushroom soup and a table to eat. Also, there are some text mistakes with mushroom/berry descriptions—we will fix this soon.
Water is not collected
On floating islands, liquids need a container. Please build a tank first and set the type of liquid. Do not mix different liquids in one tank.
How to Play
You can:
Explore the map and connect new islands.
Rescue villagers trapped in cryopods.
Research tech and fill the island with machines.
Or just build houses and decorate your town.
There are still many secrets in the sky. We can’t wait to see how you play and hear your stories!
About Translation
A very important note for our English-speaking players: Our team is small and lacks experience, so the English translation was done with AI help. We fully expect there to be:
Wrong translations (words or sentences with wrong meaning)
Missing translations (parts still in Chinese)
Formatting mistakes (line breaks, spacing, layout)
Ambiguity and Unnatural (sentences that can be read in different ways)
Culturally odd expressions
… and maybe other issues we did not even notice yet.
We sincerely apologize for this. If you see any of these problems, or anything that makes you uncomfortable, please contact us on Discord or by email.
In This Version
This demo only has Tech tier 1. Higher tiers are not open yet. But the core framework of the game is already here, and we hope you enjoy it.
Future Plans
After this version demo release, we will continue to add content and improve the game step by step. Your feedback will help us make it better.
The road of Cloud Dwellers is still long. We will keep moving carefully and honestly.
Thank you for playing, reporting bugs, sharing ideas, and staying with us!
