The Eight Dragons 2 demo has been updated!
We've been listening to feedback since its initial launch, and thanks to your input we've been able to make a lot of improvements to the game.
There's a tutorial at the start of the game. I know some of you are going to hate it - why are we telling you how to jump? - but some of you didn't know about the special moves, because we weren't telling you about them in an effective way. Now we make you do a couple of special moves before getting into the game proper. They're not complicated to do, but for very new players they might take a few attempts to get them right.
There's a recruitment mechanic. Eight Dragons 2 is designed around co-op play, but we all know that sometimes it's hard to grab another player, and sometimes you just want the multiplayer fun without other people. So now you can recruit other characters on the train - one at first, then two characters when your XP gets you to level five, three at level ten, and so on.
We've had some professional QA work done. Before we parted ways with Bonus Stage, they generously provided some QA work, which has drastically improved the quality of the game. I'm not claiming it's bug-free - no game ever is! - but it's a lot better now than it was at launch.
Thank you again for the interest and feedback so far, and I hope that you'll give the new demo a shot and consider putting Eight Dragons 2 on your wishlist!
