Hello anglers,
here’s a brief preview of the new update planned for this week.
1. Introducing the Quest System
We’re finally adding the long-awaited Quest System to the game!
This is still an early version: the amount of content is limited for now,
and there are many things we want to improve and expand in future updates.
However, this system is also a core feature that represents the direction Fishing Online is aiming for.
We hope you’ll have fun trying it out and sharing your thoughts.
Please let us know if you notice:
Inconveniences while progressing quests
Bugs or incorrect behavior
Ideas for quests or improvements you’d like to see
Your feedback will help us refine the system and add more quests over time.
2. Zone-Specific Quests
The new quests are managed through Quest Boards placed in each zone.
We’ve set up slightly different quest lineups for each zone
(yes, sometimes very slightly different, but still different! 😄).
Please check each zone’s quest board and see how the quests vary,
and feel free to share your impressions with us.
3. Features Moved to the Next Patch
We originally planned to include the following changes in this update as well,
but due to scheduling reasons they will be moved to the next patch:
Character hit rate adjustment – fix for hit detection issues related to fishing hooks
Blue Hole platform adjustments – add new 2–3 player platforms
Pirami Zone evening campsite buff adjustments
These changes will be announced again in a separate patch note once they are ready.
4. Update Schedule
Planned timing: within this weekend
The exact timing may vary slightly depending on server conditions.
We’ll post another notice right before and after the patch.
Thank you as always for playing Fishing Online.
Your feedback is what makes the game better
