New Gear
Mythical Gear
Reports have come through that a new breakthrough has been made in Muhrak’s Workshop in Habere – for the first time in the history of Arborea, ‘Mythical’ (purple) gear has been crafted!
Upgrade Equipment
Combine materials from the Corrupted Skynest with weapons, chest armor, gloves, and shoes of Annihilation or Dark Light to transform them into even more powerful gear! Here’s what you’ll get:
- Annihilation Gear becomes Kaia’s Nightmare Gear
- Dark Light Gear becomes Kaia’s Gear of Wisdom
- Eternal Annihilation Gear becomes Kaia’s Gear of Rage
- Eternal Dark Light Gear becomes Kaia’s Gear of Intelligence So you can upgrade both the tradeable version of the gear with up to 3 random options and the non-tradeable version to mythical level.
Enhancement Materials
The transformation costs vary depending on the catalyst you use – this can be Dark Mana Essence or existing Heroic Oath gear. Whichever path you choose, the transformation is always 100% successful!
Weapons
Chest Armor
Gloves
Shoes
Notes on Enhancement
The catalyst, existing equipment, and all materials are consumed in this process. You will receive the corresponding mythical gear in return.
A mythical item has the same enchantment level and random options are the Annihilation/Dark Light gear previously had.
Benefits of Mythical Gear
First of all, the new gear looks amazing – mythical weapons glitter with a new visual effect when they’ve been enchanted, and all the gear is surrounded by a magical glow.
The basic stats of physical and magical support are increased. Additionally, the equipment items receive the Kaia’s Judgment effect, which has a set probability of weakening the hit opponent. The debuff reduces their Crit Resist Factor by 25 and Magical Resistance by 2,000. The effect is not cumulative with that of Azart Mark.
In addition, the Wisdom and Nightmare weapons have special passive effects:
- Kaia’s Will: Lancers deal more damage against enraged monsters and generate 50% more aggro against them.
- Kaia’s Will: Brawlers deal more damage against enraged monsters and generate 50% more aggro against them. The aggro effect is not applied if you have activated the refinement for Growing Fury [Anomalous].
- Kaia’s Will: Priests and Mystics deal 20% more healing on players below 40% HP. They also deal 5% more damage against enraged monsters
- Kaia’s Challenge: All other classes deal 5% more damage as long as they have more than 80% HP
New Weapon Skins
You can loot exclusive items in the Kelsaik dungeons for changing the appearance of your weapons.
Craft a permanent weapon skin using two new weapon blueprints and other materials from the dungeon, adorning your weapon with a fiery or icy memento of your victory against Kelsaik!
Your path to the weapon skin:
- Obtain a weapon blueprint in the dungeon as random (rare) loot. This will contain a blueprint to match your class.
- At the same time, you can collect various other materials as these are also available from Kelsaik (in a higher quantity and with a higher probability).
- Once you have all the required items, you can right-click on the blueprint to create the permanent weapon skin.
For an ice weapon you need:
- 40x Shivering Left Toenail of Cold
- 80x Blazing Ice Shard
- 1x Weapon Blueprint of Cold
For a fire weapon you need:
- 40x Searing Right Toenail of flames
- 80x Blazing Ice Shard
- 1x Weapon Blueprint of Flames
Interesting: If you get really lucky you might even receive a Kelsaik’s Weapon of Cold or Flames Crate containing the finished weapon skin – and the crate can even be traded!
