Mabinogi Eternity
*A special look at the future development of Mabinogi.
Director Min Kyunghoon highlights the start of a new journey for Mabinogi; replacing the game’s engine with Unreal Engine 5. Though this will be a long and difficult process, two main goals have been briefly shared with us. The first is the focus on the unique and captivating points of Mabinogi and the game’s visuals. It is expected that many graphical issues will be resolved. The team will continue to show improvements in the future through many more quality of life and content renewals. Though, certain contents that seldom see activity may be phased out.
Further on, the expansion of fantasy life will be strengthened for Milletians to dream more broadly, such as underwater adventures, in-flight commerce fights, crafting your own boat to fish on, and more that we can only imagine thus far.
We hope this glimpse of what is to come for Mabinogi this year, and beyond, is as exciting for you as it is for us! We’re so happy to share these details with you. Please also look forward to an upcoming Producer Letter soon, where we will share more information about the upcoming updates expected this year.
