Hey everyone
We've optimized the turn end performance, as a good amount of our players mentioned they experienced low framerates in between turns. Since this affects so many of you, we wanted to ship this fix as soon as possible, even though its outside the weekly cadence we mentioned in our previous post.
There's also some other small fixes bundled in.
Changelog:
- Improved graphical performance in combat on turn change.
- Simplified and batched value updates, this should result in less CPU lag when turns change.
- Modified crew actions to be playable without the crewmember having to operate an equipment (with the exception of crew that affect the equipment they operate, like Breech Loading, which requires Elvira operate a missile weapon).
- Fixed Shredding barrage to no longer be consumed by enemy attacks.
- Modified the text on Catalyst pulse based on a player's recommendation.
- Fixed the upgraded Mark card to no longer have a different name than the base card.
- Modified text on Target lock to specifically reference precision attacks, to avoid confusion for it not buffing area attack damage.
- Added a Vsync option in the settings menu, the ultra graphics option had it on by default, which was clashing with our 60 FPS frame cap. It's now an independent option you can toggle on and off (it's off by default)
- Fixed an issue in neutral elite combat events where Solarii elites would never be added to the neutral elite event pool, expect to see them there going forward.
Thank you for your continued support, bug reports, and messages of encouragement. The game wouldn't be where it is without you! o7
