Hello!
These patch notes are a bit wordy as there's a lot to unpack with this update!
Patch Notes for 1.0.7ab:
New Content & Features
Added a new Favorites gallery (20 photos), which is a place to keep some of your favorite photos while your main gallery can be more of a revolving door for newly taken ones.
Photos in your Favorites gallery can be used for custom puzzles and the Lodge's photo frame, but can't be used for jobs.
Once you transfer a photo to your Favorites gallery, it can't go back to your main gallery. This is a one-way transfer.
Added an Expanded Photo Storage option in the Options menu, which increases your photo storage to 100, with some limitations.
This additional storage can be used for normal gameplay (Jobs, etc), but no stored photos beyond the default 48 will be included in your save file, and will be cleared upon closing the game. Stored photos beyond the save limit are represented in-game with UI elements.
This setting is ON by default.
Added a Realtime mode, where Seclusa's in-game time is synced with your system time.
This becomes available once you've unlocked the 'Change Time' feature (Level 5), and purchased every available time slot.
New rare variant animals:
Leucistic Lion(ess)
Leucistic Wildebeest
Leucistic Hippo
Leucistic Egyptian Goose
Revamped one of the 'Labyrinth' minigames with an entirely new design and new audio.
Smaller Tweaks
Added 'sleep until dawn' as an option when taking a nap (it's the final value in the slider).
Your camera processing settings now persist between different levels.
A few settings are exempt from this and will still reset when you load a new level: the Spotlight and Angle sliders, and Studio Lighting settings.
Added settings in the Options menu for inverting the camera's axes for areas of the game that utilize a first person view (sitting in chairs, the telescope, and possibly other stuff in future updates)
Added a bit more variety to spawned elephants (tusk variation, etc)
Improved the wildebeest's beard hair and fixed a small visual bug with its tail and eyelashes.
Tweaked the placement of the eagle's perch at the Hills.
Improved camera collision around all eagle perches.
Improved the movement of birds when taking off from their perches.
Improved the movement and avoidance of ground-based animals, making for less jittery movement and rotation in many circumstances.
Improved visibility during certain weathers.
Improved water reflections at the River.
Increased smoothness of the night sky's rotation, especially when playing on the 'low' graphics setting (It may still be a little noticeable on 'low' graphics, but that's unfortunately part of the trade-off).
Adjusted the 'depth of field' range of the camera, so small animals in particular have less extreme background blur by default.
Other small visual improvements here and there.
Small balancing tweaks to level progression.
Bugfixes
Fixed an issue where custom puzzle art would be heavily cropped if playing at resolutions higher than 1920x1080.
Note: The custom puzzle will still crop a little bit off of each side due to it having a slightly abnormal aspect ratio, but nowhere near as much as it did before this fix.
Fixed a bug where a newly unlocked job slot could show an incorrect species for that job.
Fixed a rare bug that could prevent saving or loading of your game.
Fixed an issue where Paka's harness and hats didn't get wet in the rain.
Fixed some small seams in the elephant's textures.
Fixed an issue at the Secluded Pond where the pangolin could 'dig' in the water.
Fixed an issue where some rare variant animals could repeatedly appear when taking naps.
Fixed a bug where multiple rare variants of the same species could spawn at the same time.
Fixed a bug where summoning a standard animal right after summoning a named animal could create a color mismatch with their fur.
Fixed some other small issues with animal spawning and summoning.
Fixed a bug where the camera could clip below the terrain when switching targets (this can still briefly happen in certain contexts, but much less frequently now).
Fixed a bug where the subtle camera shake for large animal footsteps could carry over to smaller animals when switching targets.
Fixed a bug where the 'change time' slider could sometimes show an incorrect time value.
Fixed a bug where, while at a campsite, if the UI was currently hidden, going into photo mode would unhide part of it.
Fixed an input navigation bug that could occasionally happen in the Card Shop.
Updated two incorrect card thumbnails.
Probably fixed some other little things here and there that I forgot to write down.
