Hello everyone from Ensora! Let's look at a few basic game mechanics.
How do you fuel a ship?
On the top deck of the ship, to the left of the elevator is the Generator. You need to put into it items that can "burn" (e.g. wood, mineral, cloth, fuel) and then press the "Charge" button. The generator will fuel the ship itself. If you don't want to wait, you can lie down and sleep on the med.bed or get out of the ship and explore the location.
Why can't I start the motorcycle?
It is necessary to "recharge" after each exit from the ship. Charging is simple - press on the panel near the motorcycle. It wastes some of the ship's energy, you have to keep an eye on it.
In general you don't have to always use the bike, it's up to you. Sometimes it's faster and easier with it, sometimes it's better without it.
Why has my maximum health dropped below 100%?
When your food monitor says "0 days" this means that the character is starving. After each outing or sleep your maximum health will drop. You need to find or buy food and put it into the food storage (top deck of ship, right side of elevator).
Once food appears in the vault your health will increase again after each exploration of a location or sleep.
You can also ask for food in the city in exchange for reputation (from a special NPC).
How do I set up upgrades?
There is a special upgrade console in town. Any upgrades must first be unlocked at the price of reputation, and then set for the resources you keep on the ship.
Generally, all resources are only accounted for in the ship's containers, even for crafting. It doesn't make sense to keep all the loot in the character's inventory.
I can't finish a location that's too difficult. What to do?
You don't have to rush to the storyline directions. Try to go to other locations, somewhere it will be easier for you, you will find weapons, medicine, and other things that will make your life easier. It also helps a lot to install special modules on your rifle - auto, shotgun, sniper.
Maybe you will have time to get used to the control and become more effective in combat. In this game a lot depends on your manual dexterity.
Finally, try to lower the difficulty level in settings menu (Escape - settings). The difficulty can be changed during the game.
Does the game have an ending or is it an endless sandbox?
Yes, the game has a storyline ending, which implies the end of the game. For this reason, we advise you to not only strictly follow the quests, but sometimes just explore the world. After all, if you find useful items and money, it will be easier for you to deal with the enemies next.
It's not clear to me which objects are interactive and which are not.
Use the Tactical Scanner (T). It will highlight all interactive objects and enemies. Later on you will remember the game objects and you will feel more comfortable. But it wastes the energy of your spacesuit. The suit can be recharged on the ship by the special port near the generator.
How to open electronic locks, safes? I need a password.
Any electronic system in the game is locked with a 4-digit password. Some passwords you can find in books or notes (some of them are encrypted and you'll have to think a bit about what numbers are meant).
Also, any electronic lock can be hacked. You need a loot item - the "Decoder". Once you have it, the "Hack" button will appear in the electronic system. Next will go mini-game - hacking the system.
The essence of the mini-game is to select the symbols indicated in the center of the screen. You need to understand which symbol is puzzled and choose it among all available. The main thing here is to practice a few times - then you will learn. Knowing how to hack systems in Ensora is useful.
In the location I was killed and all my items from my inventory disappeared. Why?
Enemies "looted" you. Yes, if you are defeated in battle, all of your items will be taken away. So stock up on items and put them on the ship - they will not go anywhere from there. You don't always have to carry everything of value with you.
If necessary, you can install more containers and even a rifle stand on your ship. All of this can be installed in the upgrade console in the city (unlocked by reputation and then installed for the resources you have stored on the ship).
Where do I get the anti-crystal? I need it for crafting and upgrades.
Anticrystal is a rare item. It can be obtained by "disassembling" the rifle on the workbench.
To disassemble the item you need to open the workbench, select the item in your inventory with your mouse and then click "disassemble". Not all items can be disassembled (for example, you cannot disassemble metal).
It is also sometimes found in the mineral. You disassemble the mineral on the workbench - sometimes you'll get anti-crystal (but pretty rare, to be honest).
