Wow 3 Beta Bytes in 3 months ya'll must be feeling lucky.
Anyway, this Beta Bytes has some unfortunate news, but also some happy news. Lets get into it.
Good News Everyone
Settings Rework
We've started reworking the entire settings system introducing the ability for settings to save between game loads and a bunch of brand new settings. We even introduced the ability to disable content itself from existing within the game.
More UI Reworking
We're retheming and reworking our UI elements again. We're hoping that all UI are now more consistent across the board. However, as we've changed the colours of quite a few elements, we need ya'll to let us know just how accessible these new colours are. We're considering changing all Buttons to use a brighter colour to be more visible but we're not sure yet. Let us know ([email protected])

Started working on old Game Modes
With Beta 5 we finally add back the 3D game mode, but in a new fashion. Instead of being a full-blown game mode it's simply a toggle that changes the camera. While it isn't as good as the 3D game mode of yesteryear (can't even move the camera or move left-right) we'll be improving it and working on it as time goes on
Content Toggles
Along with the above, Beta 5 also adds content toggles to the settings menu (Main Menu only). This means you can disable features such as, skins, custom colours, Easter Eggs, survival mode, etc.

Survival Mode
Speaking of Survival Mode, we introduced the first version of our Survival Mode in Beta 4. While it's basic in it's implementation right now, we're going to be working on it and adding to it. (There seems to be a theme here).

THEMES
That's right, we started working on themes again. For now, themes only change the background present throughout the game. However we'll be expanding this feature over the future. (Remember my amazingly placed pun from before?)
And now the bad
Online Multiplayer Update
We've unfortunately made the decision to postpone the online multiplayer mode for Table Ball again. We know, we've postponed it quite a few times now. It's just not ready yet, and for a feature this big, we'd need to be testing it NOW for it to be ready and in a public build by June.
Remote Play & Steam Input
Due to how Unity works both of these features are being canned. We wanted to at least get Steam Input out in some fashion so ya'll aren't dealing with our terrible default controller scheme. Instead, you guys are welcome to send us an email ([email protected]) with the subject "CONTROLLER SCHEME" with the controller scheme you'd like to see us use, and we'll consider it.
In Closing
This will HOPEFULLY be the last Beta Bytes for another month or so. We want to finish everything on our to do list for this update soon so we can begin the final beta testing round and resubmit the game for Steam Deck compatibility.
