Dear Lou's Lagoon Community,
My name is Robert, I'm the Game Director of Lou's Lagoon, and on behalf of the entire team, I’d like to give you all a massive thank you for your support. We were all extremely nervous before the release... it's always a huge deal to let your "baby" out into the world after working on it for so long. Especially when the development process was such a wild ride that brought us plenty of fun, but also a lot of sweat!
We are definitely nowhere near the end of our journey, though. We want to keep making the game better, and your feedback is worth its weight in gold.
Sometimes we miss the mark on your expectations or simply make a poor decision. Naturally, we want to fix those things as quickly as possible. We're looking at all of your feedback across reviews and Discord, and are planning out a roadmap for addressing fixes and patches. Once we've got a comprehensive plan, we'll share that timeline with you and outline how we'll address everything.
Right now, one topic clearly stands out: we hear you loud and clear that many of you want more inventory and storage options. After a short internal discussion, we're going to make that happen very soon!
What does this mean in practice?
Plane Cargo: We are adding the ability for you to access your cargo from anywhere. Right now, it can be a hassle to constantly walk back to the plane, especially when it isn't anywhere nearby and you're forced to leave valuable cargo behind. On top of that, we are noticeably expanding the cargo space.
Storage Room: We are working on a silo system where you can store resources. This building can be placed on Lou's Island and will serve primarily as a central warehouse. Your stations will be able to pull directly from the silo, so you won't have to manually haul items back and forth all the time.
Of course, we are also working on additional fixes and optimizations in parallel. For example, crafting will no longer pause when you open your inventory.
We do our best to read all of your feedback and find the right solutions, so please keep sharing your thoughts with us!
Thanks so much, and have a relaxing time on the island!
Your Lou's Lagoon Team
