Thank you for playing Arcana of Paradise -The Tower-. We have just released patch 1.0.2, which will address a number of issues we’ve seen reported by the community. Below, you can find a list of the changes and fixes present in patch 1.0.2.
GAMEPLAY UPDATES
Children That Have Entered The Halls of the Arcana Can Now Undergo Awakenings
Before this patch, children that had entered The Halls of the Arcana were unable to undergo an awakening or gain access to their awakened skill even if their affinity reached 100. After looking at a lot of the feedback we’ve decided to allow children in The Halls of the Arcana to undergo awakenings and unlock their awakened skill. We believe that this will improve the gameplay experience and improve access to achievements.
*We intend to make this update on the Nintendo Switch version in the near future.
RESOLVED ISSUES
Leaderboards Now Correctly Show the Top 5 Placings
In the Steam version of the game, there was an issue causing only the top 4 placings to be shown on the in-game Halls of the Arcana leaderboard. It will now correctly show the top 5 placings.
Improvements to Controller Connection Issues
We have been made aware of some cases where certain controllers and system configurations would experience connectivity issues when attempting to play with a controller. Based on the reports we received, we have been able to test and confirm various improvements to this issue.
However, due to the nature of every player’s system configuration and controller setup being unique, there may still be fringe cases where the issues persist. If you encounter any issues with gameplay when using a controller, please get in contact with us via Steam or Discord and we will work on getting another fix out.
KNOWN ISSUES
The Game Freezes When The Path Branches in The Tower
We have confirmed an issue where under certain extremely rare conditions, the game would become stuck just before the player is given the choice between the two branching paths in The Tower in the Steam version. We are currently investigating the cause of this issue and will update you again when we know more.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your understanding.
