Hey everyone,
First of all: Your reviews have been incredibly wholesome and kind! We read every single one, and seeing how much you're enjoying the world we're building is what keeps us going. Thank you for every single review so far!

Now, time for a quick, honest recap of how the Early Access is going so far:
The classic indie struggles: We know our player base is still small, and development isn't moving at lightning speed (in fact we hoped we could have posted this announcement months ago already). Jasper is a passion project, and since we're currently not earning money from the development of Jasper, we have to build things carefully and deliberately.
Good news: We are still building, even when you don’t hear from us for a while! Development on Jasper IS continuing, and we're focused on making it something special. And the next big update is officially scheduled for this December.

So, what's coming? Here’s a look at the new stuff:
More story: We're adding the next piece of the main story. The first part of Chapter 1 includes a new level area to explore!
A new gameplay feature: We're adding a major new system that lets you unlock content by digging into the lore and secrets of Myr. More on that soon!
New character: You'll finally meet someone else in the woods. Get ready to run into Ada, the traveling merchant.
We need your help with this:
We're finally ready to start a proper beta tester program.
This means you can play new builds before they go public, help us squash bugs, and give feedback that will make it directly into the game. You'd be a huge part of the process.

Last thing: We have a few questions for you.
Your answers here will seriously help us figure out what to do next.
How long have you been following Jasper? Are you still there?
Should we do posts like this more often? Would you like us to do a more in-depth analysis of our goals, fails, successes, plans and experiences in developing Jasper so far?
For a small indie team, what do you feel is a reasonable wait time between big updates?
Where should we be trying to show the game to people? Where do you find new games?
P.S. We're going to be at the Videodays Festival in Cologne tomorrow!
If you're there, send us a message and come find us. Would be cool to meet some of you.
Once again, thank you for the beautiful reviews, they mean everything!
