It’s update day Fighters!
We’re dropping a spicy update for you all! As we’ll be tossing in crafting mechanics, jazzing up combat lab, cranking the volume with some sweet updates, and ironing out the wrinkles of the progression system along with some frustrating bugs which have been dwelling on your minds!
Let’s have a gander at what’s coming up:
Workshop
Starting with this update, we are introducing crafting mechanics to the game. You might have already noticed the Workshop section in the top navigation bar, but hold up before you click it – let's chat about dismantling.
With the release of version 0.9.9, you can break down any of those Basic rarity guns into some nifty special components. We're talking about a whole new section in your Inventory, now called Storage, where these components chill with your parcels and keycards. It's like spring cleaning for your arsenal – kick out the duplicates and make room for future crafting adventures.
Heads up on the tradable status too – This indicates whether your gear is ready to hit the Marketplace or if it's in it for the long haul on your account.
Combat Lab Improvements
- Cargo and Factory now have better ropes

UI Changes
Post-Battle and Progressions
The post-battle screen just got a facelift on all platforms. Now you can snag a peek at your Valor rewards for seasonal leaderboards, track your account XP to the next level, tally up hero mastery points, and scope out your rewards with cases and parcels.
Also, the progression widget in the top left corner? It's not shy anymore, located under your player one in the top left corner. It is now not only visible on the post-battle screen but also includes both account progression and valor status.
Other Changes
- Hantu’s ability is now fully described in the tooltip with information about regeneration
- Better friends presentation for Xbox
- All poisonous elements are now purple
Bug Fixes
- Sounds from the match won’t continue playing after the battle is over
- Fixed issue with grenade explosion effect shown when aiming
- The equip button in weapon tooltips will no longer be disabled when it should be enabled
- Kewler and Venom grenade line-ups causing desyncs/crashes in replays and spectator mode
Big shout out for all your epic feedback – you spoke, we listened! We're on a mission to make SquadBlast your go-to playground. See you on the flip side of the update.
