The work on the revamped Tower of Chaos demo is progressing and today we would like to highlight some of the biggest changes coming within a few weeks:
1. Meta Progression Changes
We've been reading through a ton of your detailed feedback on improvements to make meta progression more enjoyable. Expect to see tweaks to resources, blessings, potions, and buildings.
Instead of getting more powerful by acquiring new upgrades, you will now upgrade brand new gameplay paths, allowing for further build variations and altering your tower exploration.
2. Clarity Improvements
The exploration map is visually quite intense, and by slightly tweaking the color grading, introducing pathways, and reducing the intensity of lighting effects, we aim to make it easier on your eyes. Improvements to the UI and combat screens are also in the works.
3. Reworked tutorial
There is a lot of information in the current version of the tutorial, and everything will be more spread out, giving you a chance to familiarize yourself with all the gameplay mechanics.
4. Customizable Prompts
Based on your experience with auto battlers, you will be able to adjust the amount of hints displayed in the UI. You will also be asked about your lore interest, giving you a lot of flexibility in how often your gameplay is interrupted.
5. German Localization + Korean and Japanese improvements
We've seen a lot of interest from German players, and with a revamped demo, we are going to introduce German subtitles and UI translations! Japanese and Korean localizations will be also improved upon the release of a new demo.
This is only a small glimpse of what is to come - the change log for a revamped demo is going to be as big as Laxox's ego!
