9 Days - Patch 1.08 Update
Thank you again to the incredible 9 Days community. I hope you all enjoyed the massive 1.07 update! With Patch 1.08, I’m adding a new story mission, new modes, quality-of-life improvements, and a handful of important fixes. Let’s jump into it:
New Questline: The Third
A new questline titled The Third is now available in the past timeline. This marks the final chapter in the questline from the past and serves as a conclusion to the main questline.
New Mode: Sandbox Mode
Introducing Sandbox Mode! This mode is built for players who want full access to all skills, rare equipment, and more right from the start. It's perfect for testing out builds, experimenting with powers, or just enjoying the world without progression limitations. You can still play the full story while in Sandbox Mode.
New Mode: Survival Mode
Survival Mode offers a true hardcore experience: one life, no second chances. This mode is for those seeking the ultimate challenge.
Fast Travel Portals
To make navigation smoother, Fast Travel Portals have been added to each major location. Once you visit a new location and complete a single quest there, a portal will unlock—cutting down on the number of loading screens between destinations.
New Achievements
New achievements have been added to reflect the content introduced in this update, including Sandbox, Survival Mode, and The Third questline.
Replaced AI Voices + New Cinematics
I’ve replaced all previous AI-generated voices with professional voice acting to enhance immersion and emotional impact. On top of that, several new cinematics have been added to key story moments to further elevate the experience.
Bug Fixes & Changes
Settings Menu: Volume settings now properly save and load. (Works on my end—let me know if it works for you!)
Final Boss Buffed: With all the new energy systems and questlines, the final boss was feeling too easy. Expect a tougher fight now.
New Icons: Stash locations, Change Appearance scrolls, and other key items now have clearer UI icons on the map.
Wrath Bug Fixed: This was supposed to be an entry-level power boost and has now been corrected.
New Voice Clips: Transformations now come with new voice lines.
Kod’s Gauntlet Update: Kod now has a fifth and final stage—100% power.
New Areas: Two new zones have been added to the Plane of Existence as part of story progression.
New Appearance Drop: A story-related item that unlocks a brand-new look.
Clean Feed Toggle: A new menu feature has been added to toggle Clean Feed, allowing you to remove the UI for those who want to take clean screenshots or videos.
While this marks the end of the main storyline quests, there may be more stories to tell in the future. For now, I’ll be focusing on continued polishing, UI/menu improvements, and bug fixes.
Thank you so much for sticking with 9 Days. I hope you enjoy Patch 1.08.
