Seekers, welcome to Part II of Explore Islands of Insight - a 5-part series where we will explore each biome of the game.
The story of the land is that it was created by the Auroral from the memories of another world - our world (planet Earth). It allowed us to take inspiration from lots of different areas on the planet to create new and unique zones that do not normally exist.
Today we will talk about Lucent Waters, so let's dive in!
The theme of this serene biome is Greco-Roman architecture, combined with an awe-inspiring landscape whose beauty is natural, yet fantastical. Inspired by the Caño Cristales areas of Columbia in South America - with crystal-clear water and colorful seaweeds, it is hard not to stop and admire the beauty around you.
Right behind the plaza, it is impossible not to notice the Haven of Insight, a sublime island with a familiar face on its rocks - a clue for one of the many secrets of the islands. The Haven of Insight can be considered as the lobby or hub area of the game. Right in its middle, you will find the Great Pearl and once you interact with it, this new zone will be awakened and added to your map.
Next to the Great Pearl, you will find The Effigy of the Ancient One which holds Luminous Quests - additional bonus challenges that will award extra Sparks if you complete them.
Speaking of challenges, as you wonder the unknown, besides the puzzles from Verdant Glen, you will encounter new types of puzzles such as Rolling Blocks, and other unawakened puzzles.
You will also find areas in the open world with a specific type of challenge, for example Dance of the Fireflies - a collection of Wandering Echoes - for those looking for delightful surprises.
Lucent Waters features 5 Enclaves as part of the single player campaign - outside the open world: Shattered Oasis, The Trick of The Wanderer, Gather No Moss, Shattered Library, And Ancient Court – all with unique design, challenges, and insights.
Spread your wings and glide above this beautiful location as you embark on the Path of Discovery.
